I don't understand why didn't he tell Maa Begum what Haya did. It is not a small matter to overlook. Because of her back hug so much happened and it became the root cause for Meerab to leave the haveli.

And in Gajra matter we can see the hypocrisy of Murtasim that he didn't take Meerab's side in front of Haya and tell that he brought the Gajras for Meerab. But he didn't let Meerab go out alone citing that he was the husband and he should know her whereabouts. He didn't find himself wrong when he didn't say that he brought Gajra for Meerab in front of Haya but he was not ok with Meerab leaving alone.

I find murtasam hypocrite and always favours others over meerab.

Yes he supports her in-front of MB but behind closed door you see real Murtasam who holds alter feeling for meerab.

And after what he did with Haya, you can’t call his love Isaq.

meerab beloved him when Haya told her the truth in village! She only went crazy after observing everything with her eyes and then later action of Murtasam.

There is sooo much left to explain in the story, for murtasam I don’t think it’s even love … and for meerab, her fickle love feels stronger than Murtasam now however I feel like she returned bcs she has a daughter with him. If nothing happened between them she wouldn’t have returned

If it's indeed going towards a season 2, i think we won't get a happy ending. A cliff hanger type where murtasim and meerab probably will be coparenting and meerub will stay in haveli for meesam's sake , not as Murtasim's wife but only as Meesam's mom.. She probably will move to Anwar's side property.

A scenario where both love eachother but misunderstandings are such that they can't reconcile..

Both will pine for each other but distance is such that none would be able to cross that distance..

If it's a cliffhanger ,we won't get our DDLJ scene too..😭

If they really are so keen on season 2. They can still do it with the same leads ,but fresh characters..

They can keep feudal setup, but a fresh story and new character arc and background for the leads...

This way they can rectify all the mistakes they did in first season...

Or they will shoot again gathering all cast again and the brewing same chemistry again is not it a little difficult task

Even in itv rarely the jodis repeat like balh2 only once ram and Priya made them look like a blockbuster couple season 3 is going down the drain

It's hard to put that same chemistry again even to get watch the story where we can easily get them happy together 😭

For me, this is a matter of approach. I am personally of the opinion that an actor shouldn't alter a character so much that it changes the essence of the character or alters major plot points. In fact, now that I know that MR was in the plot, I don't think Wahaj should've made the changes he did because Murtasim's character is very inconsistent now.

To me, it makes sense that Yumna wouldn't change her character's flaws because the character was grey to begin with. Her character's most flowed actions were clear catalysts for significant plot points, so there's not much that can be done without changing major tracks. For example, Meerab finally agreeing to helping Myriam run away dictated the plot of the next 8 episodes (Murtasim saving the day, losing trust in Meerab, etc). Meerab slapping Murtasim becomes the catalyst for the later transgression and running away. As an actor, there's a difference between changing a few lines and changing the entire story. From a technical perspective, I've found Yumna's acting performance the strongest in the show

However, when it comes to accepting Tere Bin as a storyline in its totality, I am disappointed in both actors and the team.

I kinda agree with this . The disconnect with the storyline is mainly due to the drastic deviation from initial characterisation..

Merrab was always supposed to be arrogant, stubborn and blunt. That's how it has been maintained throughout.. Though I feel they could add depth to her characterization by giving her good dialogues and monologues..But, even then , i don't see so much deviation in Meerub's character arc..

But when it comes to Murtasim, writer has mentioned she had written an outright feudal lord.The actor shouldn't have meddled with the character to the extent that people started considering him as god.. I mean they could retain the basic character trait of the rough and tough feudal lord even without those slap scenes..But instead, murtasim was righteous,kind,soft and there wasn't any grey shade to his character till episode 25-30 episodes .. That's the reason this MR, marrying haya etc had huge uproar as it's completely opposite to his initial characterization..

If MR was indeed part of their script they shouldn't have made such drastic changes to murtasim character and same goes to meerab. They should have given proper explanation for her being so stubborn and arrogant..

If you ask me writer had different perception of the characters,actors understood the characters in different manner and director took it in an entirely different direction😆 ..This is the reason TB faltered so badly..

Oh gosh reason two than at least it will come out next year. I can't for that long. Maybe end this season here then again new season with new story.
