Episode 27 Update
- Mahesh asks where Titli is
- Titli tells Garv you've already said what's in your heart to which Garv replies but you still aren't listening. Once you've come to the shore, you should stop swimming. Your search has also ended with me. Admit this or he's not one of those guys who will come to the temple to do seva, pray etc. but here he is doing all those. She needs to trust him as he never lies whilst in the temple or after taking an oath on the Bhagavad Gita. He just hopes that she chooses the right thing whilst there's time. Choose him.
- Mahesh comes looking for Titli and sees Sanket instead who was clicking pictures
- Garv leaves the temple
- Mahesh questions Sanket that he liked Titli so much that he couldn't be with her. Sanket flashes back to how Garv intimidated him and scrams
- Maina and Koyal are double checking if they have everything. Whilst Koyal worries about Garv not being at home, Alka (Alpa?) taunts Maina as to who Garv's real mom is. Maina gives it back to her.
- Garv comes home which Koyal announces excitedly. She sees Garv's burnt hand and both she and Maina worry over Garv
- Koyal questions why Garv was at the temple while Maina tells her to get the med box. Garv leaves without getting any medical attention. Koyal says she'll do nimbu mirchi to keep Titli's saaya away from Garv
- next day, at the mandir, Titli is wondering where Garv is
- she tells herself she doesn't care and should be focusing on her work but she still looks for him
- she has a convo with Kanhaji saying Garv has her hella confused as to what she should be feeling
- Garv tells her to think with her heart not mind, all her problems will go away. she tangles up some flowers in her worried state
- he takes the flowers from her and tells her to trust herself. he makes an analogy between the heart and mind being tangled and starts untangling the flowers
- he gives her one end of the flowers and says together they can solve all problems and completes untangling the flowers.
- he moves a lock of her hair making her shy. he then puts the garland of flowers around her like it's a varmala
- titli asks Kanhaji to show her the right way
- Manikant is talking to a friend of his over a video conference. the friend asks to meet his wife or if he's still keeping her hidden in a ghunghat. just then koyal comes with tea and the friend greets her thinking she's manikant's wife. she starts speaking to the friend loudly as if he can't hear her clearly. the friend even says so but koyal puts her face straight up to the webcam and shouts even louder. at the end of it she spills all the tea onto the laptop which makes it glitch out.

- at this point, I'm convinced somebody cursed him. varna every day itni humilation kaise??
- I swear, yeh scene dekh kar Gopi Bahu ki yaad aa gayi
- koyal says she'll clean up the laptop but Manikant starts yelling at her to not even touch it. Maina hearing the commotion comes running and Manikant tells her that he was about to ask his friend for his daughter's hand in marriage for Garv
- he states the reasons why he thinks she's a good match for Garv and taunts Koyal while at it
- he also makes it a point to note that he won't do the same thing that his dad did
- Maina tells him whatever he must have decided would be right. Manikant says he can't be wrong as he's nothing like his dad
- Koyal agrees that even a foreigner would be better than Titli
- Titli tells the pandit about the screen projector. It will display pictures of Radha Krishanji to boost their devotion
- Both families arrive. The Mehta family have no idea where Garv is. They're taken inside through the VIP line while everyone else are struggling to get through the line.
- Kaki Maa asks Trishti to take Baa and she says sure, she'll do it for Rs. 500 leaving her shocked. Trishti says if they don't have that kind of money then they deserve to stay where they are. (loll, ek aur paison ki ghamandi aa gayi 🤔)
- Daadu just shakes his head no, not impressed or happy with what Trishti just did but doesn't say anything
- Baa says that even if their children were raised with less money, they're not poor in values
- Trishti tells Monica, that's the power of money. They got in so easily.
- Koyal asks Maina if Garv picked up she said he hasn't.
- The family is shocked to see Garv sweeping the mandir.
- Manikant says something I couldn't hear clearly, yeh kaisa aurton wala kaam? I'm not really sure.
- They go to him angrily and Manikant asks him what the hell he's doing. It will be humiliating if someone saw him sweeping. Garv calmly tells him he's doing seva.
- (Manikant says something again that I can't hear properly. Idk if it's the audio or me being sick. Sorry about that guys.)
- He says Garv could have done seva by donating some money too. Garv says he's not doing this to earn goodwill (is that what punya is? Correct me if I'm wrong on that). the thing he's trying to earn is not possible in this era (kalyug) and it can't be bought with money at all
- Manikant is about to yell at him again when Maina tells him to calm down as there are a lot of people. She takes Garv aside. Koyal wonders what Garv wants as he has never done this before.
- Titli's fam is inside the mandir and they're about the work that Titi has done. Hiral sees Garv. Titli also notices him and blushes
- A very sweet flute tune of the title song plays
- Titli prays again to help her realize what the right thing is for her. Garv prays saying that he is the only right one for Titli. Give blessings to his love and have Titli be with him.
- Koyal sees Titli looking at Garv and gets mad
- Garv gets a phone call and leaves. Titli's staring after him.
- Koyal says the farther Titli stays away from Garv, the lesser her blood will boil
- The pandit calls everyone to the projection screen to look at the photos and boost their devotion. He calls Titli to start the projector
- Sanket comes looking mad. He taps Mahesh on the shoulder and gestures toward the screen.
- Titli starts the projector and it's kal ka scene where TiRv were standing close to each other after Garv had saved Titli from falling
- Everyone is shocked. Titli is embarrassed. Koyal says Titli is hellbent after Garv. She won't leave her. Manikant says so this is the seva that Garv is doing and why he's not going to the office. Maina is upset.
- Baa questions Titli if this is why she had called the family, to see a mockery be made of them. She tells her to turn it off. Titli's about to when Sanket grabs the remote and tells her that let everyone see how under the pretext of decorating the temple, Titli was secretly meeting with her lover. Sanket questions Titli if she didn't feel ashamed whilst doing this and if she didn't think twice about where she was and what she was doing.
- Titli tells him to shut up and stay within his limits. She knows that he did this to take revenge on her. Koyal interferes saying Sanket isn't the one taking revenge but it's her taking it out on Garv. She's the one trying to seduce Garv since the day she came to do the house decoration. And when he didn't give her any attention, she resorted to doing this.
- Titli tells her she's under some misunderstanding, Koyal she's not. She knows small housed girls like her very well as they teach their kids to dream of bigger homes.
- Baa gets into a fight with Koyal. Maina tries to calm Koyal down but she won't let up.

In Episode 18, during Garv's first violent breakdown we saw him command himself to never become like this father. In today's episode, we see Manikant tell his wives that he's nothing like his dad. Now, given Daadu's mental condition, we have no way of knowing what he was like back in his prime but we can safely say that whatever decisions he made they had put Manikant in helpless situations. Whatever decisions Manikant had to make (primarily toward marriage) they were largely against his will and they forever made him bitter and put him on a path where he has to be humiliated every single day.
We can say that in one respective he will break the cycle of being like his dad (perhaps with a little encouragement from his brother) as he will give into Garv's insistence on marrying Titli. He won't be happy about this marriage but to ensure his son doesn't go through the same fate, he will put up with it.
Garv, is on the same path wherein he wants to be nothing like his father. But unfortunately, as we know from the promos, he will become something far worse. Though we haven't seen Manikant hit Koyal, he has certainly abused her verbally, emotionally, and mentally many times. We have also seen him raise his hand against Garv but he has been stopped by his wives. In Garv's case, I fear he will enact all forms of abuse (verbal, mental, emotional, and physical) against Titli. If physical abuse happens, that may be the turning point in the story where a huge wake-up call is made to the men of the show. How the generational trauma and the pain they suppress within themselves cannot continue forward and it must be nipped once and for all.
Thoughts
Titli is going to take Garv saving Titli's reputation as Kanhaji's sign that he is the one for her. It will also prompt her to say yes to the marriage. I was annoyed with Garv in today's episode. He clearly knows why Titli is hesitant in saying yes to him and rather than giving her the space and time to heal, he's peacocking himself. Like bruh, leave her the fck alone. If and when she's ready to be with you, she'll come to you. Stop harassing her about it.
Trishti annoyed the hell out of me and I wish she loses all her money one day so that she knows what it likes to live a non-luxurious life for once. The arrogance she has because of her wealth was disgusting. Same thing with Monica. Instead of chiding Trishti, she just laughed and agreed with her.
Then we have Daadu looking and being clueless as ever. I swear he looks like the Monopoly man sans the monocle and top hat.
When Koyal says she would clean the laptop, I swear I flashbacked to Gopi Bahu. You all know what I'm talking about
Koyal bhi aise khushi khushi saaf karti aur bechara Manikant 🤣
Also, a major LOLL, we had Titli fully checking Garv out and then asking Kanhaji why the hell is she so confused. Like woman, tell the man ki tujhe abhi shaadi nahi sirf date karna. I doubt ki woh mana karega.
Some parallels I found:
- It was Koyal at the mandir who had inadvertently revealed the truth about Rahul and had cleared Titli's name of being in the wrong.
- Yet again at the same mandir, it's Garv who's going to clear Titli's name by confessing his love for her.
- Titli had said the projector screen was to show images of Radha and Krishanji so that everyone felt inspired by their devotional love. The projector showed Titli and Garv instead. Though we don't know how their story is going to play out or how they're going to end up, there's a lot of inspiration that we can take from them, especially Titli.
- I had wanted to make a separate post about this but never got to it but Garv having two mothers is akin to Kanhaji having two mothers as well. Maina brought this up when she was being taunted by her SIL.
- Can someone confirm if the whole regular vs VIP line is true also for temples? Cuz this is the first time I'm hearing of it. Also, I think this is the first time the show has made a big deal about the differences in financial status. It has already established a big power imbalance between Titli & Garv post-marriage.
I'm gonna stop here. The meds I took are kicking in and aaj ka episode ache se zyaada annoying lagne laga hai.
