For TiRv I think we need to change our expectations about what their love story is going to look like. I don't think they are going to be the typical ITV couples who go from enemies to lovers, or have forced marriages etc. There is a mutual attraction between them and while from Garv's side the marriage will be love, from Titli's I feel it will most likely be an arranged matter.

generally there seems to be. does anyone bat an eye if the mother-in-law slaps the daughter-in-law? does the mother-in-law ever apologize or is expected to? instead, drama always shows the daughter-in-law either sucking it up or made to feel like she is responsible for the reaction. but it is a great question to ask -- why would it be acceptable for family members and not spouses?

it seems that as long as there is a top down hierarchy such as elder - young, it seems to be acceptable. however, there is also a boundary. for example, a brother slapping a sister would be considered unacceptable. so a father slapping his daughter may not get much reaction (as kaka is her father figure) whereas any other male family member doing the same would be considering insulting, lack of respect and scandalous...
