Yeah, Faisal looked way older than Wahaj and mismatched with the girl especially since Dilnasheen was shown to be college going! I haven't seen their scenes so I just assumed may be that was supposed to be his 2nd marriage?

I was trying to find something to watch and found it very odd that in almost all his shows Faisal is paired with very young actresses. Its unsettling to watch unless the story demands an older guy - young girl pair.

I assume he is a big name in PTV industry, so they still want him as a hero.

When this show was airing, I had started watching this just by chance and had loved Hamza. But gosh! When she gets married to Faisal Qureshi and the way Hamza was shattered and leaves the wedding, it was too good. Then, Faisal's role I didn't like a bit (Here they do show that he is much elder than the female lead) I still don't understand what's the hurry to marry such young daughter off to an elder man only bcz he is rich 🤷

I don't know but for some reason I don't like Faisal Qureshi at all (I mean on screen)

FQ's old dramas used to be good. You may watch qaid e tanhai, mzzbn, khalish, the ghost, meri unsuni kahani, app ky liye.

But yes recently he started doing bad scripts with young girls. Tho hiba does not appear to be a college going girl.

Indeed! My family was the same, and my husband’s as well after settling in Canada and the USA respectively. There is this feeling of responsibility many immigrants have, especially if they are the first ones to leave.

So by backstory I actually mean further backstory; I thought they were going to show her history with her parents, the accident, and then her actually entering the haveli and how her perspective and attitude developed. Haha… I remember the days when we even thought we would get flashbacks to when Murtasim was younger and the time when he had to give up his chahat. But no… them trying to stuff Haya’s orphan status on us and assume it will make us sympathetic to her despite her despicable acts …that didn’t work out well for her character, if that’s what they intended.

Maybe her backstory is that she’s an orphan? I come from a family who believes in taking care of those family members in need. My grandparents were the kind of people who took in any family members in need and took care of them as their own. Even in Canada, my parents opened up their home and provided financial support for years to family members that emigrated here. There were times that some even acted quite unreasonable but my parents would tell me to ignore it, they’re going through a lot. It was ingrained in us to tolerate a lot from family members less privileged than us. I think that’s what happened with Haya. She’s always gotten away with a lot because they feel a sense of responsibility towards her. They never wanted her to feel like an orphan. They clearly let her get away with too much.

Haha yes true. So, to clarify, I don’t care for her backstory right now. But in the beginning I thought they were giving to give her childhood backstory… before and right after her parents accident. The way Yumna said she liked her character etc. and all the producers keep expressing sympathy for her… I really assumed that they would show us her childhood scenes to make us feel some sympathy or something. Because I definitely am not feeling any sympathy despite just hearing about her backstory the way they have revealed it.

2. In the scene where Marium slaps Haya, we learn both of Haya's parents died in an accident.
3. We have heard it said more than once that Haya is an orphan (yateem)
4. We have heard MB (and Haya) say that Haya was raised by MB.
5. We have Marium talk of her relationship since childhood with Haya in the scene where Marium is asking MB to bring Haya back from her exile in the gaon.
6. We get some snippets of dialog on her past relaysh with MK (before he gave up photography)
7. We know she is not interested in pursuing studies further.

I agree with you if this forum did not exist my poor family would have lost it...poor people had to listen to so much... Such a memorable journey, never did anything like this all my life... more than meerasim yaha pe aa kar apne DDP share karna bahut achha laga.. met the same kind of crazy which was so amazing.. pata chalta hai sab diff time zone se hai..

Have got so used a DT dont know what to do when it is over.. I counted I will have atleast 4-6 hours of time back...( family walon ko bola yeh sirf 2 ghante barbad hote hai )
