I think Yumna read the initial script and okayed and then didn’t have a choice when they decided to extend. Also did PH tell the writer they wanted certain things in the story for hooks and cliffhangers.

I thought she said she submitted the last episode right before they were supposed to START shooting. Can someone confirm.

Also even if the whole script is not there, the whole plot is sketched out and actors get a detailed briefing on how the story will unfold and end. For instance, if there was MR, actors would be told in briefing there is MR. If there was a separation track, the briefing would indicate it. Actors can also ask to talk with the writer to get more details or they can go with blind trust - it is up to the actor and a choice they should be held accountable for.

Actors don't have a choice if producers stretch filmed content in in post. But if there is additional shooting outside of the days they have committed and are contractually obligated for, actors can decide whether to proceed, they are paid extra and there is contract addendum.

I don't think there was any additional shooting due to TB's success (we have zero evidence supporting it). Shooting had wrapped up by end Jan a month after TB launched. In any case, shooting in PTV is not in sequence but by location. For instance, the BTS with Farrukh predates the start of TB even. The scene with MK rescuing Maryam from MZ also predates the start of TB.

Makes sense but then what was she writing towards the end while shooting was going on. Did PH ask her to add/make changes to certain elements in her completed script.

But they already shot for 6 months atleast. Coz we saw ost. The main portion was finished earlier. Ost me saare scenes toh already we saw. Even khet scene, murtasim standing on the terrace, memu at the pool side in their haveli. When was the last day of shoot. Does anyone know? Yumna finished earlier. Wahaj too. Sabeena and Bushra were the last ones.
