The problem isn't why these particular issues arent brought up.. The problem is why the dramatic part of court case is being wrapped up without the drama part of it. Why they are rushing through the most important track of the leap.

We already know from the promo Abhimanyu got full custody which is just unlikely anyway. Indian law mother will always have primary custody/joint custody in case of a divorce unless she's extremely poor or mentally unstable.. Unfit to raise a child. So Abhimanyu winning full custody is an ITV fable at best. But how they reached that conclusion should have been executed better.

The victim went public with proofs of physical abuse, domestic violence etc.

Family court gave Shalin a clean chit with only visitation rights.

Since we are discussing about fictional characters, the court will consider triggers or reason for divorce.

Judges in India are pretty stoned hearted.

As far as the abusers in the Birla house are concerned, both HB and PB aren't living with their wives. Shefali has the option to opt for divorce.

Maybe the omission of the biological father in the birth certificate and simultaneously hiding Abhir paternity formed the base of argument.

The part of evidence is completely true. I agree. A known reality that domestic abuse victims find it hard to prove it in court. I do believe witnesses can be of huge help then.

In the end, the court will always take into consideration what the mother did to safeguard herself and her child.

But Akshara the superwoman who had already miscarried one twin fighting goons, felt it best to live on her own with little or no money after being nearly molested, thrown out of hostel in the middle of night, and even going to jail(being well aware of her pregnancy). One could say she suffered more than white day by not taking help from her brother/family. So when she doesn’t care about herself or her pregnancy- what gives her the right to blame others?

Abhimanyu blamed her for Neil and his kids deaths- should never have happened to any woman esp in her condition. However, he too has been continuously blamed post leap by Manjiri-Arohi for not prioritizing Ruhi and by Goenka’s for disturbing Akshara-Abhinav’s marital life. He has been living like a zombie with no motivation in life for 6 years. He has been erased from his kid’s life. What more suffering do you want for him? People say he listens to Manjiri- but don’t see that she is the only one who pays attention to him or his pain - when Abhimanyu said case is the best option, Akshara was quite instead of offering a better solution which she didn’t have else he would have considered that alternative - isn’t he human like others - or his only purpose in life is to be of service to Goenka’s and their broken siblings- save their lives, save them from each other, save them from Mahima, save their kids, save their spouse, treat them for free? Seriously ? A child who is happy with his parents , real or adopted or in step relation, one who is praying for his mother to win his custody , why would the court grant custody to the father for this reason ke the child was lied to ? A 6 yr old kid?😆 Kuch bhi .

Frankly I'm not interested in the reasons bec itv anything is possible..but in reality no court would grant the full custody to the father unless the mother is financially or mentally incapable of bringing up the child. U know our country's judicial system, aur apne vakeel bhai behen ko salam.

A minor's custody in India will be given to the mother only. However there are certain exceptions like prejudice, intent, false representation of facts which works against the litigants.

Presentation is crucial in any argument.

In Abhira's case both parties can twist narratives.

But we need to understand that when she left abhimanyus house , and aimlessly boarded the bus , she had no intention of settling down ..when she learnt about her pregnancy , the first person she called was abhimanyu ..she had the intent to go bk to him but he only said chali gayi ho meri zindagi se dobara laut ke kabhi mat aana ..it wasnt like his phone was unreachable or they didn't get to talk ke she should try again and again.....so much hatred for the girl he claimed to love ? ..in the most difficult period of her life , she wanted him to be on her side , was it so wrong? This is what she said in the promo at that time ...

When abhir was born, she not just erased his name from the birth certificate , she erased his love , his identity from her life ..khoon ka rishta hi kaafi nHi hota meant just that..when she needed him the most , abhinav was with her not abhimanyu ."she didn't try enuf" means nothing..she tried and she failed..why would she try again and again for the person who wasn't ready to pick her calls even? His mom was getting panic attacks with her name flashing on his phone...if therrz nothing he cud do, she also wasn't left with the option to contact him again... I understand why the arguments were muted because there was no possible way Abhimanyu could be shown winning full custody otherwise.

But still, this is disappointing. Why is DKP ruining one track after another. Wasn't this supposed to be THE TRACK. Custody track should have gone for a week. The arguments, the back and forth- the revelations, the flashbacks. That is where the DRAMA is. They muted the whole thing and will wrap it up by tomorrow.. Unbelievable.

They are really eager to start Abhir and Akshnav separation era and complete Abhimanyu's whitewashing when he gives him back to the Sharmas. But this was such wasted potential.

@bold - Exactly! And not just him but Ruhi too. I hope both the kids get together and teach these crazy grownups a lesson! Not liking the current custody track but hopefully we’ll get to see both kids’ growing bond with each other if they are under the same roof.

They could have gotten lawyers to negotiate a coparenting agreement rather than fight a case where no matter who wins - Abhir will lose!

Regarding lying to a child - the issue could create complexes in Abhir when he grows older - but she was honest with him and did say she will tell him once he is older - so will let that pass - but the problem is that she didn’t even consider how Arohi-Ruhi will be impacted when she heard of their alliance - it would have been alright if she remained quite like she usually is but instead openly supported that alliance - and only a few days before that she was so concerned for her sister that she was ready to travel to Udaipur just to see her after the electrocution accident. Her keeping Abhir hidden - partly understandable intentions- have led to complications in everyone’s lives.

If they knew before, Abhimanyu-Arohi could have considered the impact it would have on their priorities and decided if they still wanted to go ahead with marriage - but Akshara took away that option from them. They had just begun being friends and Abhir’s truth which came out too late created a conflict of interest making it all the more harder for them to either move ahead or back. Didn’t Akshara want happiness for her sister or at least Ruhi? And even if Arohi has done many mistakes - Ruhi is an innocent child - but Akshara didn’t speak up for her sake either.

Even during Abhir’s treatment her first priority was hiding the truth rather than informing his doctor - so even if one accepts her emotional state 6 years back - I see no reasonable justification for her to not come out and tell the truth herself in such situations where it would have made a difference. And with all the mess between Akshara Abhimanyu and Arohi - Goenkas, Birlas and Sharmas - everyone will be impacted that’s why I said her lies have messed their lives. Just as Abhimanyu had 6-7 months to call her back or go look for her, Akshara has had 7 years to speak up.

Unrequited love, break-ups, moving on and heartbreaks- thats just life. But children shouldn’t have to suffer because adults can’t handle their feelings - which is why I feel every one is at fault to some extent.
