Directors do play with the careers of the unsuspecting actors , sometimes knowingly but most of the times due to their ignorance and over indulgence. Yash Chopra did Sunny dirty in his zeal to prove the people who rejected SRK’s role wrong. Rohit Shetty did SRK wrong in his over indulgence with Meenamma’s character. SLB ignored Shahid in trying to create an iconic anti hero Khilji. We can go on and on because there are too many such stories. In KJo’s defense though, he signed up Ranveer when he was at the top of his game and his look/fashion was a rage amongst his fans. But little did he know that it would all change and people would get vexed with his atrangi style. I bet even he must be regretting for giving this look to him. Too late though.
