She’s done well in movies that are created to mask her weaknesses but every time beauty, grace or that Bollywood Actress grandeur is needed - she falls flat.

It’s not even looks. She doesn’t have the personality for this. She doesn’t have that sparkle or command on the screen.

This is also a type of cinema. Everyone thinks a Raazi or a Highway is the epitome of being an actress. Sorry honey, if you can’t carry a saree and bring that grace…. You’re not a top actress. This is also a skill and type of cinema.

Couldn't agree more..Alia is only good when given a script which suits her personality and brings out her strength n masks her weakness..giver her a larger than life role..which needs glamour, aura, grace and she falls flat..take Kalsnk for example..thats why no one can touch Madhuri and Sridevi..give them any role and they ace it..they were not limited to only one genure..

And its not even sbout looks..Rani n Kajol are one of the most average looking actresses but both were faaaab in songs like suraj hua maddham or chalte chalte or kabhi alvida na kehna..the romance n sensuality they brought on screen was like a dream…In this song neither Alia could bring romsnce, expressions or glamour

Still alia will be handed the best scripts bollywood could offer..she suits the part or not is another story altogether

And after this just imagine Alia playing the role of Sita jii 🙄🙄🙄 why god whyyy

I really love Ranveer as an actor. Atp it's just sad. This looks like a dubti naiyya. Wonder what will save his career.

I also love how Dharma is self-elevating the song by comparing it to some past songs and calling it song of the generation and what not. What a horrible PR strategy

I don’t remember songs from the past self-proclaiming their legendary status, they just became huge because they truly were great

Even when Tum Hi Ho became a rage in 2013, it just “happened”…. The makers weren’t advertising it to be what it turned out to be. Kjo is losing it.

This is what happens when you are desperate to somehow try to fit the square peg into a circular grove. Just to make Alia forcibly stand out in the backdrop of that snow, he put colorful sarees on her while Ranveer was made to wear monotone or neutrals.

This movie looks like another disaster in the making. The teaser only has 180K likes even after buying millions of views.

This song is terrible - everything about it is wrong from the singing to the actors. Ranveer looks so ugly that Alia looks like an angel in comparison. No chemistry, no nothing. Arjit's screaming voice has also become like nails on a chalkboard.

Something off and too artificial- almost forced

BTW I can’t help but notice that most songs these days are very male dominated. Nearly all the lyrics are sung by the male singer while the female singer only gets a line or two. At this point the songs I’ve been pretending to sing is getting very limited. SRK, Arjun Rampal and John Abraham are getting bored sitting in the audience and listening to me transition from Sunidhi’s Kamli Kamli, to Alka’s Thoda Sa Pyar, to Shreya’s Ami Je Tomar on repeat.

I love Arjit so I don’t want to complain but I want more songs being sung by female singers as well (with the exception being if your name is Tulsi Kumar).

In this case they could have easily accomodated more of Shreya's voice coz Alia's character is the one imagining the song.
