NM can do shoddy job with continuity but the dialogues in TB always had dual meaning. She will not ruin her favourite boy whom she announced dream man on national TV with all shit , she also knows loyalty in men is what works with audiences.
Asher inspite being douche bag and after what all he did to Khirad has been forgiven because he stayed loyal . So she knows her audiences well.
