Over time and decades BW Cinema has evolved to show many issues affecting the Society.

They tend to keep the one genre going for 10 years or so consistently even.

But there is one huge, huge issue, although shown, has not had much dedication shown to it.

A stream films flowing in the subject to drill the importance has not happened. Where as this is an everyday situation. It's also real and happening all the time.

Recently, I came across a story on YouTube. A Woman shown dancing in her wedding followed by a gruesome incidence thereafter where her inlaws and her husband killed her, chopped her up and boiled her body parts. And Guess Why? Yes Dowry.

I then looked at more and more upsetting content of the similar sort. Yes Dowry is deemed illegal. But how many are taking this seriously?

B/W only does a touch and go around this subject. Why are these incidents not a focus of attention? Why are we not seeing this reality in its ugliest form in Movies. Why is this subject brushed under the carpet so often of the atrocities these young girls and their families are seeing?

I haven't watched it yet. Do they actually show the proper gruesome acts like what's happening in real life?
