My guess is that after prem left subhadra was the ideal eligible candidate but Dhanraj was made the CEO and that's why she is bitter.

Dhanraj is Blind for sure but not by eyes but by Brain. 🤣

Gargi knows more about his brother's family that him and he knows prem from childhood.

I did see the potential of a back story of DJ and Ruhi but I hope it remains just the back story and they focus on the rivalry.

In Yesterday episode They did show it. Around 4/5 min scene of DB and Ma shree where he was talking about letting go of all his happiness for Prem/Dj/Subhadra and never treating them as step siblings.

About Kunti she was adopted and probably not much cared by her adoptive father(as we see Kuntibhoj never even helped Pandavas), I don't think they will bring that angle

Rather I think her family would come and her nephew would be Krishna (Just like Krishna was a cousin to Pandavas)

They had the main role in MB.....Had they done something then Dhiridirastra, Pandu and Vidur would've never been born and Vyasa wouldn't have come to....ahem! Anyway they cannot show such stuff in this one , it won't make any sense so they must've omitted it...
