i dont know in India but i buy a small pot of it and it costs me $16.95 from this middle eastern grocery store.. the people there call me sister after every sentence hehehe..

looked generic biryani to me and it just was biryani.. they got randos to cook there.. and like there was nothing else served lol...

When my brother was posted in J&K he bought 2-3 small boxes of saffron threads. Those were pure kashmiri saffron. One or two threads was more then enough to give strong colour and flavour to a liter milk. I dont know how much it costed by i don't think it costed 16 dollars. If so he wouldn't have bought 2-3 boxes 😆.
