I don't understand, so now Anuj will pick Anupama up in his arms, have a farewell party for her in KM, share romantic moments, and they are not concerned about Maya? So he's the one making her go more and more crazy by the day and then he's "treating" her also, wow 
But this clip is scary. She's definitely schizophrenic and needs help (the medical kind, not from doctor Anuj or Anupama 
). Visualising them together is one thing but imagining them laughing like this and being all evil is creepy. Makers have successfully made a mockery out of one more issue - mental health. Now they should quickly close this Maya chapter before it gets worse 
This show has become a national joke. Utterly ridiculous! They have completely ruined a mature love story. There was so much to explore like problems which a middle aged couple face, parenting challenges, Anupama's career progression, education,learning English and giving presentation etc BUT the makers CHOOSED to MOCK a victim of human trafficking. This PH deserves to rot in hell....😡

That's a very one dimensional way to look at things. I know ITV shows don't have much logic or coherence and some of us may know that and not take it seriously, but this is particularly harmful when TRP aunties and such people, who already think poorly of victims watch and say ah yes, this is why such people shouldn't be helped.
The reason other people are calling this out is because our society already has such stereotypes about human trafficking victims, rape victims, people suffering from mental illness etc. So when a show that claims to be progressive and empowering perpetuates this to people who might have those ideas already in their head, it's very damaging. No one is saying all rape victims or human trafficking victims are good people, but when something is a stereotype or an already prevalent wrong notion, such shows in 2023 shouldn't promote them right? Especially when they are claiming to be a progressive, women empowerment show. They shouldn't have given her or Dimpy such a backstory. If they wanted to introduce those social messages, they should have brought some characters just for that, shown their message and then moved on.
Not supporting Maya or her actions, just saying the writers really messed up by giving such back stories to people who turned into villains.

But The writers CHOSE to make a human trafficking victim do this. And now we have many people who watch the show, including people here who were abusing all prostitutes.
You cannot give a free pass to the writers, they chose to give wrong message and deliberately made a human trafficking victim as evil
This woman herself NEVER follows Kanhaji's teachings. Keeps dancing to the tune of her abusers. Even Kanhaji must be miffed with her. BTW, U didn't understood the crux. My grudge with the makers is for the obnoxious portrayel of women with dark backgrounds,be it Dimpy or Maaya. In reality, these women are struggling to break such stereotypes and join the mainstream. Society already views them in negative light and by showing them as home wrecker the makers have cemented this narrative. Moreover,this show has a mass outreach so it's the duty of ph to analyze the repercussions of the track they introduce. Isn't?

they definitely need to close this Maya chapter. They are making a mockery of mental health which is not good. Hope they send her to a mental facility asap.
