Thank you!!! Aapne agree Kiya that his character is flawed!!!
Haan wohi toh question hai. Agar woh itna achha hai, toh usme insecurity, inferiority complex sab nahi hona chahiye. Aur koi bhi acchha aadmi, khud hi nahi bolta hai, ke main achha hun, aap mujh par trust Karo. 😆😆
Aur flawed hone ka matlab interesting bhi nahi hota hai na. Witty, funny, smart, intelligent, talented bhi hona chahiye.
Goodness is not measured with money!!!
Pretty sure everyone will agree Abhinav is flawed per se. He's a human being.. ofcourse he's flawed in this own way. But his flaws are so inconsequential compared to typical ITV ML flaws, i understand if ppl don't consider them flaws at all. Compared to the rest of ITV MLs, he's not really that flawed.
Every character comes with their own baggages and complexes in life. But Abhinav doesnt have MAJOR CHARACTER FLAWS that make or break his arc. He has those everyday common man flaws.
Abhinav is a decent human being who knows how to treat people well. Without ego, toxic masculinity or projecting any sort of toxic behavior onto others. An orphan growing up with nothing, ofcourse he'd have inferiority complex looking at the living standards of his wife's family. Its only natural. It makes him feel inadequate constantly. The Birlas literally made it a point to attack his financial status and made him aware that it could be the number 1 reason he doesn't deserve Abhir and that he would be taken away not just from him but also Akshara. A family man who was made to feel less than because he cannot match the biological father's status. Before that episode, his gareebi never affected him to this level. Now he keeps apologizing for it every two secs and frankly it would never completely go away.
I don't understand this at all. If someone is nice, they can't have their own issues? Says who? 😆
Someone who helps others, is soft spoken and naive..and doesn't see bad in people..basically a simple man with a humble life..cannot have their own issues? Why? They have lived a life with almost nothing, then was given the one thing he desired the most and now lives in constant fear that it could all be taken away. Abhinav is a human being like Akshara and Abhimanyu. He is not a divine being. What is this expectation that he is so enlightened that he cannot even feel his own emotions.
He's just a good man who treats people well. He can feel all the emotions under the sun just like any other human being or character. How he handles those emotions and how he treats others with those emotions in him is what makes him different than others or sets him apart/makes his arc.
Abhinav won't forever be torturing himself with his insecurities alone. Once Akshara and Abhir choose him over Abhimanyu (this is the important part) with all their haq as a lover/husband and father most of the inferiority complex and insecurities would go away. That's the arc. If he was that enlightened being who was affected by nothing at all, then his character won't have any arc or growth.
