Pam meets Vikram in jail and asks him as to why did he call her there. He pleads her to bail him out and tells her that he needed money to get their house back but had no other way of acquiring it. He also tells her that it was Kesar who called the police. Pam tells him that he is behind bars not because of Kesar but because of his misdeeds. He tells her that if she doesn't bail him out, he would tell Amma and Anand about their hand in Abhi's death. Pam gets scared and agrees to bail him out.
Rudra gives Kesar his first check but she tells him that he should give it to Pam first, as she is his mother. Rudra tells her that he wanted to, as he felt very bad for not being able to give her money to donate under Mannu's name when she asked him.
Rudra gives Pam the check, in the amount of Rs. 12 Lacs. She refuses to accept it but he tells her to keep it so that he would feel as if he has fulfilled his duties as a son. Pam hugs him and has tears in her eyes. She then decides to use part of the amount to bail Vikram.
Pam bails Vikram out but the police tells her that she has put herself in a huge risk by doing so and if Vikram gets convicted, she may be held liable as well.
When Vikram returns home, everyone is shocked to see him. Soumya tells him that she wants to divorce him, as she doesn't want her daughters to suffer because of him. Dadaji tells Vikram that he is with Soumya and also tells him that he disowns him from his family. Vikram pleads Rudra and calls him his son but Rudra tells him that he never considered this relationship between them. Vikram tells everyone that he wouldn't have been caught if Kesar didn't inform the police. Kesar tells him that she didn't do such a thing. Rudra tells her not to explain, as he knows that she didn't; and even if she did, he would've supported her. Dadaji throws Vikram out of the house.
Kesar meets Harman in his room and asks him whether he told he police about Vikram, as only the both of them knew about it. Harman tells her that he didn't. She tells him that he may have done it out of revenge because she brought Angela to stop his engagement but he tells her that if he had wanted revenge, he would've taken it directly from her. He tells her that he was about to talk to Vikram but the police came before he could and if she still thinks he is wrong, he is sorry. She says sorry to him for misunderstanding him. After she leaves, Harman says that he had to lie to her to give Abhi justice and then admits to have some feelings for Kesar. He, then, says that Pam is his next target after Vikram.
