Ok hmmm... just saw some post of MK and Haya together sitting for engagement or something. We moved an entired thread from my last night... anything else came kya?
Waise I have made my peace with this whole Murtasim-Haya track now.
Nooran is for sure a super lazy writer.
She steadily took Meerab to heights of stupidity and selfishness where her actions needed contrived justifications to make sense and hardly evoked any sympathy off late. Her character was stripped of any softer edges, she came across as cold , selfish and uncaring.
And she let Murtasim be the Hero, who shined as the sole propeller of this love story only to end up as a tragic one who was left for dead. He was punished by Meerab and gained all the sympathy.
So now, with one master stroke, our genius lazy writer turned them around.
With Murtasim-Haya angle, Meerab is being let off the hook and absolved of any accountability for her actions so far, however stupid and absurd they have been, Murtasim or us won't be given any explanation or justification now. Meerab now gets to have the upper hand and have her "I told you so" moment as all of Murtasim's past good deeds are put to rest and our sympathy shifts to Meerab.
In all of this, Murtasim and us are the ones who lost. He was the only one making this love story work and now he is made to fall from hero to zero by putting an end to it. He was played by both Haya and Meerab, of course in different ways, but both are absolved now as we will not get to see them realize or be accountable for their actions.
Nooran sacrificed Murtasim to not have to give us any explanations for her bizarre story.
