That is a sureshot way to have a dead and empty forum by the turn of a week. Threads should realistically be made in places where there are already people frequenting the forum. Otherwise no one would ever open the forum specifically to make a comment or two. Ideally a separate forum sounds good, but let's be honest, it will pop a week and go dead silent the other. You should make whatever threads you want in here as there are a varied bunch of people here and BW forum is literally filled with everything other than BW itself

I think a forum will offer a better scope for threads as many different topics related to spirituality can be discussed simultaneously without making a single long running thread extremely confusing by discussing everything there. Plus finding posts related to certain topics in those threads would also become very difficult.

By that logic it doesn't make sense to have forums like debate mansion, member lounge or chat clubs too cos all of that happens in bwf itself.

Yes, I agree that it may end up as a dead forum but it would just add to the long list of already existing dead forums here. What could be worse than that.

  1. Do you practice meditation and think it helps?
  2. Does any specific technique of meditation work for you?
  3. Which sources do you recommend for learning meditation.
  4. Have u ever practiced yoga?
  5. Is Yoga same as physical exercise?
  6. Do you know about kundalini yoga?
  7. What do you think about kundalini power?
  8. Do you think a Guru is necessary for spiritual enlightenment?
  9. Can you recommend some autobiographies or biographies of some true spiritual gurus?
  10. Kriya yoga practitioners?
  11. Anecdotes related to Swami Ramkrishna paramhansa.
  12. Favorite quotes related to spirituality

These are just some of the topics for example purpose. The scope is unlimited.

Exactly my point. If you visit those forums you'd notice there's not a single thread that's been created with the sole purpose of being discussed in DM Or ML. It's often threads that get dumped there from other forums that happen to be active or semi active. If you were to make a political thread there, you'd very few replies, the same thread on any ocassion would have very reactives replies here. It's just human behavior - wanting to be in groups. Even though it's literally just clicking to go into a different forum, no one who make the effort because there are hardly people there. People would rather stick in groups wherever they are than saunter alone in a dead sub forum.

Just pick a topic that you wanna discuss and start it here, if the topics are going on even if they are repeatedly getting dumped in other forums (like lifestyle perhaps?) then you know you've got audience. Then make a case and tag Vijay.

Just tryna help, you can of course demand for a separate forum if that's your aim. I'm just hella bored today😆

thanks, those are great questions. My point is most of the topics are closely related, and I don't really see them as needing separate threads, unless you want to restrict the discussion and not allow threads to be free-wheeling. Just my 2 cents.

@ohophelia & Birdie - ofcourse you are free to have a differing opinion. That's the whole purpose of making this pole i.e. to get different viewpoints in support or against. I'm not demanding anything. I was just wondering if this would be a good idea. I, myself, dont like jumping from forum to forum. I would rather participate in a forum that has most activity but sometimes I would want to discuss some topics at a place where only those people visit who want to discuss on that topic. Ex - spirituality.

Previously i had joined a few forums which were specifically related to spirituality but now i only visit India forums so wanted some place like that here too....
