Abhimanyu's Pov
Though I'd palpably know that She loved her husband Sharmaji, she had shown this in her every action Yet hearing the direct confession from her mouth broke something inside me, maybe because I still had a tiny hope that we may get back together as a family however everything has finished now.
I want to go far away from this town though I can't as I am here only for my son. I cannot afford to lose him like I lost Akshara.
I was lost in my thoughts when my mobile phone started beeping and when I checked "Papa" calling was showing on the screen, yeah Papa aka My Sir, I have accepted him as my father after Neil's death, Neil's death changed so many dynamics in my family.
I accepted the call, and even before I opened my mouth to say hello, 'Papa' ordered me to come to Mumbai as it was an emergency case in Birla Hospital, Mumbai.
He sounds distressed but why?
Papa never took any case personally, then What is so special is in this case, that He is calling me to Mumbai when he knows I am Kasauli with my son.
I think it is a sign of Mahadev. He also wants me to go away from Akshara's life, And if it is Mahadev's sign' then how can I ignore it, so without wasting any second, I booked the next flight ticket from Chandigarh to Mumbai and even booked a cab that would drop me at Chandigarh Airport.
I am in no position to explicate anything to anyone so I just messaged my maa about the emergency and left from there as my cab was here.
No one noticed me going & no one would even miss my presence as I was just an unwanted guest.
The next day around 8 am, I reached Birla Hospital, Mumbai. Directly I went to my father's cabin, where I met him and got shocked by his reaction. I was expecting a hug and his pleased look to meet me after so long. I didn't get that but the file of the so-called emergency case.
Everyone is so keen to make me feel unwanted in their life.
Nevertheless, I never expected that from my father at least.
"Abhimanyu, You have to do something, You have to save Him, Now you are our only hope" my father insisted.
I had never seen my father so involved in any case. Since my childhood, I was his only priority that I secretly liked it but never showed it to him. He becomes fretful only when I get hurt. Getting anxious for some other person is so not my father. What has happened to him?
End of Abhimanyu's Pov
Abhimanyu opened the case file and started reading it. While reading his eyes widened. He'd never seen such a complicated case in his life. He was astonished that how can this person was still alive. It was a miracle.
Harshvardhan Birla looks at his son with a worrisome expression who's reading the case file. Abhimanyu closed the file with a loud sigh, and this reaction didn't give any positive sign to his father.
"Papa patient ki halat bohot kharab hai aur bachne ke koi chances nhi hai, in fact, mai toh shocked hu that ye abhi bhi zinda hai par mahadev ne is patient ko abhi tak zinda rakha hai toh koi reason toh hoga aage bhi mahadev hi bachayenge I can try my best only baaki ka sab mahadev pe" Abhi reassured his worried father.
"Please mere papa ko bacha lijiye"
Abhimanyu turned toward the owner of that voice and saw a woman with a teary-eyed face but still looking beautiful, standing at the door of his father's cabin.
Abhimanyu was mesmerized looking at the beauty in front of his eyes he never felt anything like this for any woman except Akshara. After realizing what he was thinking he mentally slapped himself for having such thoughts for an unknown woman who must be around of same age as his baby sister Nishtha.
"She's very beautiful though" He admitted to himself.
"Priya, beta please come inside" HB gestured to the woman who was still standing at the door.
Abhimanyu was surprised to hear such affection in his father's voice for this stranger girl. This case was getting more interesting for him.
Who's this girl, what's her relationship with his father, and why the hell her teary eyes affected him so much, all such question was coming into his mind and his first two questions were answered by his father
"Abhimanyu isse milo ye hai priya mere sabse kareebi dost Vipul Mehta ki beti" his father exclaimed
"Vipul Mehta ?"
"Ha same patient jiski file tum abhi check kar rhe the " he cleared
"aur priya ye hai mera beta"
"Dr. Abhimanyu Birla janti hu uncle" "Sir apka 100% positive record hai , Please mere papa ko bhi theek kar dijiye" Priya requested while joining her hands in front of Abhimanyu.
Harshvardhan Birla took the broken girl in his embrace while tears were flowing out from his eyes too. Abhimanyu was no less he was also getting affected by her tears.
"Priya look I can't promise you anything but one thing I guarantee that I'll try my level best to save your father baaki mahadev par vishwas rakho wo sab theek karenge" he reassured her.
Then they went to meet her father and his father's friend,HB wants Abhimanyu to meet Vipul as his father's friend first before meeting him as his doctor.
Vipul Mehta's a single father, he lost his wife when Priya was 5, and he singlehandedly raised his daughter. Abhimanyu was feeling good after meeting his father's friend and the way he proudly introduced him as his son amazed him.
"Don't worry uncle aap bikul theek ho jayenge" Abhi tries to cheer-up his father's friend which made him chuckle
"beta doctor hoke aisi jhooti tasali nhi dete,mai janta hu mai nhi bachunga par mai ye bhi janta hu mai aise marunga bhi nhi jab tak meri zimedaari puri nhi ho jati" Vipul lamented on his condition.
"Vipul kitni baar kaha hai maine tujhe priya ki chinta mat kar , priya meri zimedari hai jitni teri beti hai usse kahi jyada priya meri beti hai tu bas apne aap ko operation k liye prepare kar" "without wasting any time operation aaj hi hoga bas mujhe teri ek aur baat nhi sunni" HB declared
He was getting irate about the constant denial of his friend for getting himself operated, before marrying his daughter off.
"Toh meri chinta ko dur karde apne bete ke saath meri beti ki shaddi karwade" he requested his friend which he gladly accepted
"theek hai abhimanyu karega priya se shaddi"
