First yep Navshu are boring. If we remove Abhi from the equation what is even left to see? They will likely just go for the leap. They cannot show the same issues that Abhira had cause Nav is better, so they have to show no or very few issues. Without issues there is no drama and no show.

Second most marriages do have compromises like different likes, different tastes, maybe even looks but marriages don't have the compromise of having no love and having to work really hard for love. Even good arranged marriages aren't like that.

Third the only reason Abhira had issues was the so called toxic Birlas. But that is why Abhi told Ak to stay away from issues to let him handle things at least in the beginning when she literally doesn't understand the family dynamics. Nav has no family to compare to this so it's a moot point.

Finally, Abhira had very different opinions on things and that is why they worked. If they just agreed with each other all the time then there would be nothing to watch. They disagreed, argued and reconciled. The issue was that they often took things too far. That is the only positive I see for Navshu is that they talk about stuff calmly even when they disagree and try to work it out. But Abhi is not alone here, Ak was also ridiculously angry with him, she matched his anger and intensity on many occasions. She never tried to make him understand through clever manipulation like she does Nav. Neither did Abhi. They were both brutally honest with each other and argued because of that.

I honestly don't see how Abhinav is a copy of Abhimanyu. They are VERY different. Btw, it's not just Abhinav fans hating Abhimanyu, almost everyone hates him except for Abhimanyu fans. 😂

I m talking about season 3 alone . I have not watched the previous ones . I am just comparing the present scenario to a year before . What RS said ki show bandh hone wala does not seemingly be true . If the show ends good for all of us

With Abhinav, Akshara expresses her opinions. In the earlier episodes she was pretty dominating regarding expenses, saving, routines.

These traits were negligent in Abhira. Abhimanyu led the relationship, he decided for her. Blunders or mistakes were committed both ways where as Abhinav introspects right vs wrong.

Akshara second innings is unrealistic, it's a glasshouse. As long as everyone lives as per her whims and fancies all is well. Throw a stone and the house won't remain

I am from Mumbai where people are liberal but the manner in which Goenkas completely cut her off is pretty absurd, same goes for Patiji. A righteous person won't live in an illusion.

I mean just because Abhimanyu told him that he does not want to do anything with Akshara, his word isn't absolute.

Agreed. She is conveniently used for both male leads. It's actually how sad she has no importance in her own story.

I disagree. Post marriage is where the writers fell off. Rather than focusing on their leads and exploring their dynamics they went with nonsensical tracks that had no closure.

The other ship is basically a reboot of Abhira with less thought. Nothing new or original about them. It's like watching Abhira with less chemistry and no build-up.
