Though, this idea and pov is understandable, NM failed to portray this properly in Meerab's pov ..

It's sad to see that people aren't able to understand why can't she accept murtasim.. The biased script always alleviated Murtasim by butchering and even denied to provide meerub's POV to the extent that none feel bad for meerub...

This own choice is an illusion. Even if she had not married MK, she needed her parents' permission (and resources) to pursue law school. For a girl in Pakistan, who lives with her parents, this is the reality. If you are not financially independent yourself and living on your own, a Pakistani girl (or boy) would need someone's permission or blessing to follow their dream.
