IIs ITV promoting Sugar Daddy-Sugar Baby relationships?

In last 6 months, ITV had 3 shows with age-gap couples.

Na Umar Ki Seema Ho

Chashni

Udaariyan(with parallel FL)

Since ITV can't show such bold and controversial relationships which has increased in even India in the last few years let's coat them with age-gap love and eventually married couples🤔.

Can Ghum too be included in this category since the leads have atleast 10-12 years age-gap with FL being 18 while ML atleast 28 years when they were married and the reason for which their marriage happened?🤭

What about Aditya-Imlie in Imlie season 1

And there was also an old show Kuch To Log Kahenge

Imlie's ML was middle-class or at least upper middle-class so that can't really come in that category. Ghum couple comes in that category as ML married FL to protect her and look after her financial needs.

KTLK was very old show and also a remake of much older show. That too can come in this category.

Barrister Babu was a period drama show otherwise it would be topping the list.

But I think Aditya was rich compared to Imlie. He was a city guy while she was from the village.

Oh yes you are right about Imlie. BB and KUDCA can't even be called that since it was set in pre-independence era but it was in today's time then yes.
