Bilal's character was subtler than yumna's and yumna herself appreciated Bilal for taking up the role because a lot of actors didn't dare to take abdullah as the female lead was more loud than the ml. Bilal did pks right after doing cheekh and there was literally nothing common between wahji and abdullah. He changed his entire demeanor and his character never confused anyone. He does have good range. If you have any doubt just go through the initial reviews of pks. Bilal was more appreciated for his acting than yumna. It's only when his character went down the drain yumna started getting more appreciation as abdullah's character wasn't worth any sympathy and mahjabeen was the bechari masloom fl.
About sajal, in 2017-18 she did yks and o rangreza and both dramas were critical and commercial hits and both characters were vastly different from each other. She has played vamp and comedy roles and sassi from o rangreza was one of the greyest female leads in pak dramas. Sassi is what actually called a grey shaded flawed female lead. Something which is given as justification for badly written meerab's character. In the initial episodes her character had a lot of comedy as well and even in KA sajal does comedy pretty well.
Yumna does ott acting way more than sajal and TB is the best example for it.
Yumna always appreciates her co-stars. She is very cordial and supportive in that way. It doesn't prove anything. I did not talk about subtlety, I talked about plus multiple shades an actor is able to display by just playing one character. Secondly majority of the TV shows are female lead driven, So?. Also, Yumna was appreciated for her acting since the initial episodes. Whenever you would see PKS mentioned, it is Yumna's initial episodes acting that is mentioned and appreciated by the public and critics and no it is only your assumption that the Yumna's character got recognition because Bilal's character went downhill. Not enough evidence available to substantiate and support your claim.
Once again the same range of acting in YKS, although personally I like it, but you don't see any major difference in Sajal's demeanor before attempted assault saga and after that. It was the same tone, same deadpan expressions. Once again Sassi is the greatest female lead character is your own opinion and not a fact, not substantiated by any particular figures or evidence. And your understanding of Meerab's charcter is wrong, she is not a grey charcater, her intentions are always at the right place, her actions might not be correct sometimes. That makes you naive or if you want to be more hostile you can call Meerab dumb but she is not grey. Unfortunately, by the end of the show people should have been able to sympathize with Sassi's character and should have known about her intentions and why she did what she did but it wasn;t the cause. By the middle and then till end when we were watching it live, poeple were asking the question what does she actually want. You can visit O ranreza DT now if you want. It wasn't bad writing in O rangreza. It was just one dimensional acting and portrayal of Sassi.
Also, badly written character of Meerab, yet only Yumna could play it so well that people are still able to relate to her. And no it is not just Yumna's fans, people from all over the different countries who are watching TB relate to Meerab and have become Yumna's fan after watching TB. So yeah.. figures speak for themselves! Substantiated and supported by numbers and trends.
