I’m also thinking she doesn’t know how to go back even if she wants to after running away. She might afraid of the consequences waiting for her. Honestly she needed time away, she was completely overwhelmed and needed some breathing space. She probably should have at least told her parents where she was but she didn’t. It’s probably hard to go back and face everyone now.
