Aaj ke liye quick update :
Jai invites dev to his dad’s aatma Shanti puja or something, continues the order that his dad had with the Sharma’s.
Finally today we get clarity on his name - it’s Raoji bhai (thanks to the nameplate in his office). A life size portrait of him is installed by Jai and he is remorseful. Raoji’s secretary is like his whole life was you Jai. Jai recalls how he spoke ill about vidhi and how his dad always took his side. He types a letter - addressing her as Miss. Vidhi.
Vidhi reads the letter and it’s a job offer (along with a long shpiel about how much she helped him and how his dad held her in his regards. And something about how she will manage both her familial duties and official duties.
Dev is like what offer, and vidhi tells her she got an offer from him the day before the nilami and she declined it. Dev is like are you mad - it’s a great start for you. You have to take it. Vidhi looks at satya who is happy too. When vidhi leaves - satya looks uncertain and dev talks to her.
The next day - vidhi is in full form - cooking for (of all people chithra), dev comes and is like it’s late. Chithra calls for vidhi and she goes and of all things massages her hand and gives her milk and dry fruits. Dev comes again and is like it’s late. Vidhi goes to her room and finds her dress set out (the yellow one) and everything prepared for her. This was a sweet scene - but felt a little off to me - someone else see it and let me know if I’m going nuts. Vidhi is uncertain about the job - she is like ice only ever worked at raichand industries. She says she’s not sure how she will be when she works outside. Dev is like raichand industries is your comfort zone - you have to push yourself out of there to know what you can achieve. Vidhi is like are you sure it’s not your guilt making you say this, dev is like no. They’re two different things. This is a good offer - Raoji hand picked you - so think you’re doing him a favor. Vidhi is like ok. Dev says that whenever he goes out people behind his back say that you married me for money, or you’re successful because of me. I can’t wait for the day that people say - look there goes vidhi raichand’s husband and when you’ll be my budhape ka sahara 😄 it’s a sweet moment.
Vidhi gets ready and comes - and she tells dev that I consider you my guru - can I pl take your blessings, she goes to touch his feet. He stops her and instead takes kumkum and fills her maang and wishes her luck.
Vidhi goes to the office where Jai is waiting for her and he addresses her as Miss. Vidhi - she corrects him and asks him to address her as Mrs. Raichand or mrs. Vidhi - jai doesn’t want to call her either so settles on Vidhiji.
He offers her the role of head of innovation and design and shows her her cabin, where she says that she wants to sit with her team. He asks her what her comp expectations are and she says she wants to talk to her husband. Jai is like I hired you not your husband so you tell me. She asks for some time. He tells her to let him know. And thinks that Dev has her completely trapped, and says not anymore. Now it’s time for her to fly.
Back home dev and chitra return from doc appointment - hamla are there. Dev asks for vidhi she’s not yet back. Vidhi comes and dev asks her to stop and share the good news first - vidhi tells he’ll then that she is now the head of innovation and design. Everyone is happy. Satya tells vidhi she’s kept puja for her and it’s at 9 tomorrow. Vidhi is like I’ve to be at the office and satya is like tell them you’ll be a little late. Vidhi is worried - dev notices.
There were some Amba scenes where she is going nuts, yogu tries to calm her down and says she needs help. Yogu is freaked out because she is losing it and he is worried she will bring him down with her.
Precap - havan is going on, vidhi gets a call from jai/secretary and she is like I have a puja. Jai is like the whole family is backward.
Amba is at the hospital and sees dev and chithra there. She decides to take revenge through chithra/baby.
