I'm a centrist. I think all Governments, especially in India, are corrupt. But you CANNOT be Okay with the Police not following the Law even if you believe there is some political agenda behind the whole thing, which I highly doubt. Anybody, no matter how powerful, has to follow the law of the land. In this case, a man accused of s*xual mol*station has to be arrested by the police, Brought in front of a magistrate who decides if he gets bail or NOT. You've seen it in Rhea's case, Aryan's case. The arrest cannot WAIT until the "investigations" done. It must be done right away when the FIR is filed.

Exactly.....I don't know what the confusion is?? Dharna happened because the cops refused to file the FIR.....and that was the reason for the dharna and the courts had to be moved.....

Also the age matters when the incident happened.......not the current age.

Dhoni posters were burned, stones were thrown at his house, Yuvi's father has said shittiest of things about him, many people have said so much against him, his daughter got rape threats and there have been so many shit he has dealt with.

He never came on SM to say about it nor ever took sympathy nor ever replied back.

So why the heck he will say something on SM.

This is completely ridiculous about forcing others to support u specially when u know that person haven't even come in open ever to defend even himself and on top of that there is no proof and abhi themselves broke the law.

During Hrithik-Kangana Saga there were people who fiercely defended her and supported her..hailing her jhanda of feminism. Few here including me defended Hrithik..and see how it panned out. And now few of those people mock Kangana just coz she gives pro govt statements and their ideologies don't match. Doesn't matter that govt isn't pro Kangana..So for few people their ideology matters more than truth.

So choose ur issues wisely..even here the girls may or may not be telling the truth..but there r obvious mismatches in their statements. Minors names can't be disclosed to the media ..right. Infact there isn't the need at all to involve the media circus in each n every issue. But Allegations bhi karne hai aur FIR bhi nahi karni aise kaise..hope they have gone ahead and done it by now.

M always pro govt..even during school college days when Congress ruled.

There were frequent dharnas and strikes..the ultimate weapon of communists..Aaj is union ka dharna hai to kal kisi aur ka..that's pure anarchy.. paralysis the system.

It shouldn't be the norm.. thankfully Indians have started discarding the strike culture

I understand dharna is way of making Govt listen to them grab eye balls.

But they need to make a difference place for it.

Itna inconvenience hota hain hain for a everyday goer.

Jantar Mantar tourist place ki jagah dharna place ban chuka hain.

Uper se uski wajah se waha aas pass normal logo ko problem hoti hain.

Farmer protest ke time toh itna bura haal ho gaya tha.

They need to make another place for all these dharnas and protests so that normal insaan ko inconvenience na ho daily basis per.

So how should have Police stopped them? Bcoz baat karke toh nahi gaye.

I don't like Kejriwal as he increased our College fees even when it was strictly denied to increase in Covid time.

So I should have went to that place where a important function is happening and try forcefully to enter and everyone around me knows that I have problem and complain against him.

So Police should just let me go along with others who just entered for their dirty politics and make me do whatever I please

Certain posts here make me wonder how badly information is being used by the people in power. All the girls wanted back in Jan/Feb I think was to lodge an FIR which they were denied. What and how else the voice can be heard ?

Every damn protest by citizens are termed as anti-nationals and protestors are shamed and tortured or bulldozed by authority. Reminds me of a movie in Bengali ‘Baishe Shrabon’ where there was a scene a poor househelp is asked by someone what is Democracy, all the househelp says is ‘I vote’ in a scared confused way.

This is not how national prides are dealt with. 😵 So much for that Brij guy just because he’s from ruling party. The guy has the audacity to even issue statements like these medals are sold in Rs. 15. Bhai koi khareedke dikhaaye mujhe bhi khareedna hai Olympic Medal. 😕
