I'm seeing some people expressing doubts because wrestlers claimed to be stronger or that Brijbhushan was beloved and praised. Joe Sandusky abused college football players. At the time of abuse, many were in peak form, fitter and stronger than Joe Sandusky. Larry Nassar was widely praised had climbed his way all the way up to the US Olympic team.

I'm seeing some people expressing doubts because the narrative has changed. I would suggest they watch the Unbelievable series. It is based on a true story showing how trauma can impact memory and interrogation can cause self-doubt. A serial rapist got away for years because the authorities didn't believe a teenage victim because she was unsure about the details of her story.
