and he would have come back as a reformed man and Sai could have loved him back .. and patralekha would have settled down with Sam dada .. now I feel yeh sab Kamal sir ki galti hai .. til til Kar Marne ki jagah ek hi baar me viru ko shaheed hone dete .. maybe ash n ninu could have had another son .. by surrogacy ..,

He is fabulous n as you mentioned in another post doesn't fit in the scheme of things of ghum. Lekin ghum mei misfits hi chal rahe hain since inception🤣🤣

He played Shrimant Madhavrao Peshwa in a DD Marathi TV "Swami" when I was in school.

Rama Madhav was a beautiful couple. Swami is also a historical novel written on them which served as a source material for the show.

I still have fond memories of that show and Mankani was a teenage crush for me.

Madhavrao Peshwa is credited for expansion of the Maratha empire to the status which we saw later (third battle of Panipat which Britishers won). Ramabai was his wife and friend (they had married when she was 5)... and had a loving marriage. They didn't have kids but she oversaw administration when he went on wars. Was a very progressive couple and brought administrative changes and transparency in the administration.

She committed Sati on his pyre even though it was not a custom for them and he had asked her not to.

Bajirao came later and while he was equally valiant and successful, the foundation was laid by Madhavrao. 👍🏼

Waao. Me a big fan of marathi theater, it's very rich. N all marathi artists in ghum are far better in their craft. When they get a chance in ITV they shine ✨️
