What I thought was realistic was that teenager dong eun was the one (out of all the ones getting bullied) who had courage enough to report it to the police, she tried getting justice through authorities in school too.So of course it made sense that if anyone who could plan n take revenge from those criminals it would be dong eun too.

I got interested in watching reading it's a revenge plot but now I'm reading about romance too. I guess I'll skip now. šŸ˜’

I did. The show is good, I was hooked.
But to be honest, it actually shocked me to know that it was inspired by a real life case. Moreover what’s even more unbelievable is that apparently extreme bullying in schools is not that uncommon in Korea. I mean what in the world!

A lot of K dramas portray bullying in schools and I never gave it much thought because it is mostly shown as a subplot or just a small part of the story but since knowing that bullying culture is widely prevalent in their schools, it’s really made me so uncomfortable.

K Dramas portray a fluffy and happy culture filled with romance, smiles and love for food. Like you said, the school bullying is usually a subplot in dramas and it’s always shown to be an insignificant or minute aspect to the story.

I’ve also heard that racism is extremely prevalent in Korea as well. I guess I’ll see for myself when I visit in September.

Watch ā€œAll of us are Deadā€, ā€œKingdomā€ and ā€œTrain to Busanā€ if you want a really good zombie drama/film that’ll keep you sitting on the edge of your seat. Most revenge dramas has some elements of romance to cater to typical people like me. 🄲

Yup watched both at the cinemas. Popes Exorcist was gutter level bakwas. My brother fell asleep. It’s possibly the most boring horror film I’ve ever watched. Possessed kids are never scary.

Evil Dead Rise was creepy because the main actress had a scary AF face. A decent film and one time watch.

None of these horror movies are scaring me though. I literally want to experience being scared while trying to sleep. Last time I felt that kinda fear was after watching Exorcism, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Conjuring, 1920 and Dabbe.

@bold - oh thank God. I thought the same and wondered if others felt differently. I had high expectations from it but was highly disappointed.

Evil dead rise on the other hand, i enjoyed watching. That actress i had seen in the series Vikings too and yes she's scary even without all the makeup or prosthetics. 😳

@blue - haila 😲 same to same 😲 scared like feeling scared being alone or walking in dark or checking if the doors and windows are closed. I want that kind of scary.
