I'm sad 😔 is an understatement(in bold). The story is about Meerab the rebellious girl who gets into a forceful marriage and resolves to never accept the marriage. But fate would have it relationships with humans are meant to transform and evolve we humans should learn to accept and move on with the changes. What happens when meerab resists to accept or acknowledge and instead resolves to tide against her own emotions, forms the crux of the story.

Story needed murtasim the feudal lord to be charming and endearing to make it easy for us to get convinced that why can't she accept him.

Then comes the phase of a little seperation which is sure to create a rift in the couple's nest, the brief seperation only intensified meerab's urge to be with murtasim but her head is definitely not willing to confess. But, finding murtasim taking Haya's name or finding them in embrace was the final nail for the heart to open the floodgates, first usual whataboutery then typical rona dhona😭, roothna😔 manana ☺️ eventually giving into each other. Probably he can't refuse yet can't take it all happily because everything is ankahee and not finalised yet. If you rewatch episode 34 where murtasim adores meerab with the song in the background now it all makes sense.

Simple theme is dill ka suno khush raho, hypocrisy ki bhi seema hothi hai varna ek baar heart ❤️ bole baad mein jaaye then our 2 🧠 cells can fall like dry 🍂

I am disturbed with the way TB turned out. I can neither accept MR nor angry makeout session. They didn't sell these characters to us. What was the point of showing restraint, patience and love from Murtasim? Why show us that Meerab was starting to have feelings? I thought that ITV and PTV were restrained in the content which they can show. I didn't sign up for this nonsense. Till date I cannot process how they have ruined this show.

Wahaj really reworked MK's character from what we are told

He refused to do thappad scenes

SM portals and news articles lauded him for this

But when it comes to the MR scene, he is helpless. Boo Hoo!

You can't take credit for progressive changes you make but absolve yourself of all responsibility for regressive elements

Lots of changes to script happen onset:

Siraj the director said there were many parts of the script they did not film, were unfilmable.

On set bohat scene bana lete hain

The CS excuse we got could have been incorporated at the time of shooting and acted accordingly

As for Wahaj not reading the script. I don't buy it. He is a self-confessed control freak and very detail oriented. He would've read the script - very likely thought it was tatti. But he wanted to work with YZ and this would have been his first ML role in the 8 PM slot - so he was going to do the project anyway. If he said he read it, he would have to give his opinion and justify why he took this role. Bro patli galee se nikal gaya.

Suppose script padha nahin. But narration main to bataya hi hoga keh rape hai. Tab nahi click hua!!!!

We loved Murtasim but if you look at the story these forced marriages and MR happens in real life.

Maybe Y and W didn't think Murtasim would be made an ideal husband by the fans. Maybe they tried to deliver a real story that at the end of the day love is not enough.

This is not the main reason but this thing below did contribute to the mess of epi 47 editing:

Too many teens or young adults girls and young women are watching. They're still in that phase of life where the mantra is end game of couple is the only happy way otherwise mar Jaye sare.

It's not fully their fault. Mostly sab guzarte hai through this phase after first or second hand experiences

Some never learn but many do....

That is what has happened. Showing abusive relationship between man-wife isn't new in ITV or PTV.

But nobody in their dreams thought Murtasim would be seens as this almost perfect man by the fans and the show would become such a huge hit.

Murtasim was written more roughly. In an interview with amna, wahaj said he tweaked quite a bit (in amnas words)

He got the slaps removed from like every second or third episode. But they forgot or didn't care to adjust meerabs reaction. That's why Meerabs reactions appear over the top. They didn't adjust her.

Basically a project done badly and overlooked storyline is the end result of such negligence.

As for MR. You are looking at it as a sane and from a human being point of view. See it from Noorans pov. She thinks if he is in love, handsome loving kind and then it's okay.

It doesn't even register to her that what she's written is wrong. Even after the entire continent corrected her.

It's her upbringing. Sorry to make it personal about her but it's her upbringing in a feudal system that she takes MR so casually.

There should be a background check for script writers 😆

I hate to make it personal too but NM with a pen is like Trump in the president seat. Now she has the power to make her seemingly backward and regressive thought process (I will apologize if the shows ending proves me wrong but she already justified the slap in Rabia’s interview) reach the masses in a romanticized way

I really wonder how much of what we see is a reflection of what’s occurred to people she knows and whether she is in a way validating what happened and changing the narrative because she cannot otherwise cope with the majority opinion that MR and physician violence are horrendous

I know. Neither is acceptable to me. They ruined it and I now sound like a broken record

I don't get it why r we discussing WA or YZ doing this drama? Realistically, 7th sky aik bara production house hai woh jab cast karega show mein tu actors ke value bhaar jate hai aur 7th sky ka projects notice bhi hote hain because of their budget.

Hum mane ya na mane sab actors ko paisa aur fame chahiye hote hai chahe jitna bhi koi established kyu na ho koi.They both did it for money and fame.Tu kya problem hai iss baat se?

I don't have any problem with actors doing script which they agree or not agree to. Money and fame are very important and I am happy that they both got much needed international recognition but if it is about money and fame only then we shouldn't even blame 7th sky or NM. Aise toh sabko fame chaiye hota hai.

If we are putting the blame on NM to write a story like this , production house to to produce a story like this , why should we not put the blame on actors too?? If it's only about money and fame then noone should be blamed.
