I think she consummated while doubting Murtasim’s love for her. She thinks he’s having affairs or at least an affair with Haya. Love and insecurity must have made her do it so it truly was a moment of weakness. I think they didn’t have all these issues and they did it after declaring their love for each other she would have been fine. However before this Murtasim wasn’t trusting Meerab because of Rohail so she feels misunderstand (whether we agree with that or not is irrelevant since this is how she feels) and then she catches him with Haya. Her trust in him is already shaken further since he dropped her off outside her parents home (again I’m speaking in terms of Meerab’s feelings). She is truly regretting her decision and feels like she completed lost herself. Meerab isn’t our average girl. It’s not normal to leave in middle of your Nikkah and make the groom sign a contact. We come from a society where arranged marriages are common and most couples are consummating before falling in love so people may have a hard time relating. Meerab rejected this wedding from day one and this contract was very sacred to her. Murtasim knew this too and respected it. Neither wanted to do it this way. It’s a way bigger deal to them any other average couple because of the importance Meerab put on the contract.Can anyone explain what exactly did meerab want ?
