Maybe this is my naivety and also probably because I’ve had such a long hiatus from ITV that I am still holding onto some hope that things will course correct. They wound up Divya’s track so quickly, I don’t get why they are dragging Amba’s exit for so long. Amba is a bigger player I get that, but so much of drama while she leaves is traumatizing.

I thought sneha would have to leave the show before her new show aired - since they’re airing at the same slot 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know why they have sidelined dev for so long? Is it to prove that vidhi deserves to work - yes of course she does. But the show is about the both of them - not one persons journey to mahanata pro max.
I don’t think it is scheduling conflicts either - thanks to all the BTS videos - we know that everyone was there - so it’s just bad direction/editing. I was way disappointed with the lack of reaction from Dev - and vidhi just going with the flow. Part of it maybe my fault as well - coz I had a whole bunch of expectations.
if vidhi has to work - I hope she doesn’t work at Ramoji bhai’s enterprises - she would rather work with her parents. Priya can work at raichand’s and abhi can follow his true passion - whatever it is.

Thoda to focus karna tha Dev ke chehre what with people saying kitne ache lag rahe hai dono. Vidhi's hesitation show Kiya tha initially. It seems like there are too many dishes in the plate and they want us to taste everything, neglecting their bestsellers in doing so.

Makers have relied on her to propel videv forward.. So can't afford to lose her. Also, in today's episode it was clear she got a whiff of something smoking between vidhi and jai.

I'm guessing this Jai will make some pact of sorts with Amba..

Precisely. Wo bhi confuse ho rahe hai, ki focus kare to kispe. But when in doubt - it always has to be the leads.

Ek baar to vidhi ko dev ke taraf dekhte hue dikhana chahiye tha. I hope they show something today - but I doubt it. Atleast Dev-Vidhi ka dance theek tarah se dikhaye to accha hoga.

I think all of this is fine - as long as they focus on dev and vidhi. That is the part that is most frustrating. Even if the actors are there and doing the best, if the people who package it and send it to the audience do a shoddy job, then there is no point.
How can the channel/production house be ok with how horrible the editing has been so far.
For example - none of us care about what some random audience lady watching the show thinks - we care about what dev thinks. Dev was there - but all we got was a random still of him looking blank. Like Carl said - everyone around him looked more uncomfortable. Was it intentional - probably, but they could have focused on dev more - that would have made more sense.
instead we got Ramoji gawking at Vidhi and Jai, ramoji’s secretary’s thoughts, a shot of the live stream likes. Everyone other than Dev.

Episode was ok. For the first time, hated Amba's wardrobe haha. Yogesh bohat hi bekar hai planning and plotting main lol switch off karne se kya hota hai 🤣

I dont know what happened to the makers midway in this ghareebi track. Till Amba was about to get arrested, things were ok story wise. Kaushik and Dev were working on getting business back and Vidhi and Priya made plans to get the house back. But some how sole focus shifted to Vidhi which is unnecessary

I am actually happy the dance and editing on Vidhi and Jai's dance was terrible. I cant bear Dev watching them dance together. I dont think Dev will get jealous easily at the moment so the reaction seemed ok to me. I felt rather than jealous, the entire Sharma and Raichand inc Dev was uncomfortable and so was Vidhi but since the performance was at stake, they went along for the sake of it.

I want to give this track a chance just because the focus will shift to ViDev in whatever capacity which is desperately needed. Both Rachana and Iq are probably on board with this cause they have agreed that story has faltered in some ways in regards to their track.

Jai se zyada, Raoji bhai ke dialogues are annoying...

With the whole discussion on gen x y z, i think the makers always had cliched tracks and characters to please them. There were so many uselss tracks and stories even before the marriage but because they acted as small catalysts to bring ViDev closer, we accepted them. Tbh what has unexpectedly worked in their favour is the lead chemistry, which they were not expecting to this extent hence the struggle to balance the love story with the usual drama

More than ott drama, what is bothering me is the execution. Even dumb tracks if shot and edited properly, at least we can sit through them. We made so much noise about Vidhi's wardrobe that they did bring changes, not all were amazing but at least it was a start. Likewise, there is a lot of rant on all platforms about lack of ViDev's story and Jai's track if handled sensibly can lead to age gap discussions and struggles than come because Dev has experienced things in life that Vidhi will go through now

I know sometime back there was comparison to KTLK but the only difference is that the FL of the show was immature in some ways from get go, Vidhi's characterization is very different, she was always more mature for her age and followed Dev's footsteps in every way so expecting those kind of mistakes from her would be out of character. I want to Vidhi to make mistakes recognizing true colours of people because that is something that comes with exposure and experience or hiding things from Dev and resolving those issues by realizing that she needs his guidance in life to be protected. Even Dev feeling insecure about being so old to her is good because thats how people react given the visual difference (like the boat scene) so dealing with that will bring ViDecv close. They can use Satya here more responsibly cause she has seen all this with her husband.

Lol i am hoping for a silver lining here because i am too invested in them as characters and seeing them happy together makes me happy too

All I care is what dev thinks while watching his wife dancing, vidhi dreaming wanting to dance with dev instead of jai,If they had shown Satya's reaction on vidhi dancing with jai rather than her own dance performance I would have gladly accepted her ss. Remember how she looked when on navratra dance performance dev picked earrings from ground so that they don't hurt vidhi's feet,that sort of look I was expecting.
