I wonder how do they manage shooting long sequences with such a tiny baby. Commendable job👏👏

I can't even complete the teaser clips in youtube. too much cringe and lack of logic. my brain cannot compute. am waiting for vanya to stir the pot. till then, it is only promos for me.

I am sick and tired of this baby obsessed Viaan & all the popping up of Katha.

The story started out so refreshing. Why are they killing us with this Viaan the Mahaan?

same! this track makes no sense to me especially within the Indian context. like I mentioned in a post on mili's thread, this feels like some firangi inspired Indian show at the moment.

I literally don't understand why he doesn't just hire a nanny/ayah. forget teji and farah but these men are rich. so rich that viaan had 1 crore plus lying in cash around his house that he could give to katha during the one night stand.

he obviously has servants and this is some rich house that the servants are dressed in fancy uniform. why on earth are they asking katha? why not just call one of the servants and ask them to get someone to watch the baby for a while or help out?

otherwise, there are agencies where you can call and hire a nanny for the month or two. there are also agencies where you can hire nurse aids as well.

the entire arc feels like it is set somewhere abroad where you don't have servants and relatives helping out in the house when there is a newborn. I can understand this arc if the setting was different but this drama is based in mumbai.

the whole thing is supposed to show off how viaan has father vibes and that is supposed to move katha's needle. rather than romantic, that just feels cringe. I neither find it cute nor relatable.

viaan has no job that he leaves office to babysit? what kind of CEO is he? 🤦

so the father of the baby has no time, the grandmother is too sick but some random friend will leave office during the day to come babysit a newborn. right, eye roll. 🙄🙄🙄

To handle pregnancy pains or to help in labour woes or for tips needed in baby sitting, Teji & Farah could have been easily contacted.If its mentioned Viaan's old friend Keith's wife needs urgent help rather than highlighting them bachelor Viaan is trying hard to learn & experience parenthood, then both mothers could have been supportive. 😳

But both bosses Viaan & Ehsan on two nights instead have gone ahead to disturb Katha for help.. (atleast show viewers that Teji & Farah are out of town for couple of days in their NGO meetings)😛

Writing & execution is so unconvincing in this sub track, 🤔just to showcase Viaan is seriously learning parenthood thru pregnancy, labour & baby sitting which Katha also needs to notice, feel many relatable factors which were earlier higher in KA compared to other serials, went for a toss.😒

PS.

IPL is ending, so hope from next week pace of KA picks up with more relatable plots & character arcs, as other channels are also focusing on new tracks & new serials from Jun 2023.

am keeping my expectations very low that the drama will improve. the writers have forgotten that a key ingredient in a serial should be drama. there is literally no story. you can skip weeks and miss nothing at this moment.

exactly and why would you call such a friend of all people? doesn't she have next door neighbours or other housewife friends?. it is not like there was some sort of emergency where she has run out to hospital because her mom fell sick or something like that and so she had no other option other than a friend with zero experience in handling a newborn.

no, she just wanted to nap. and so calls a CEO friend to leave his office work to come babysit. 🙄🙄🙄

For sure! And i have always held my stance on Katha Ankahee being unique and probably the only decent show on Indian television!

And Viaan with baby are absolutely cutest!!

But it's just getting a little weird because we have gotten more realistic episodes previously, so now if only they add like a few extra bits for eg.: Amrita telling him this is how we put diapers (ofc Katha can come later) or him calling his mum but Teji not picking up either

And that's why he gets absolutely helpless and calls Katha.

- then it makes the whole situation a little more believable!

Especially when it's just for a little while when the baby's mother is taking a nap!

it is different not in a good way, but in a bad way -- and that warrants criticism. people have stopped watching and commenting because they have lost interest. much of the group who originally were watching when the show first aired are no longer participating. the forum was so active and fun in the earlier part of the drama but now, it has lost its mojo. we have literally nothing much to say or comment. we are only halfway through this DT and we have been here for a month.some days, hardly a page moves because nothing happens or nobody bothered to watch because it was such a snoozefest.

when the show is being stupid, it deserves to be called for what it is. 🤷

I have just finished watching the ep where Seema Dutta tells Viaan that she doesn't know his father. After my recent traumatic experience with TB and nonsensical plots🤣, I absolutely loved this ep of KA especially the following:

- PapaG telling Reet to look after her children🤣

- Viaan saying that he needs to forgive and let go of his past for his sake and that of Katha's.

- The whole scene with Seema Dutta. The acting was really good in that scene.

Give me boring KA any day over shows where writers come up with nonsensical plots to generate hype.
