Yes especially how Fatima was a kid in Chachi 420 which released in 1997, same year when Aamir was acting with heroines like Juhi and Kajol in Ishq.

Sounds so weird if you think of those films and that era and put things in perspective.

There were articles of how the main reason behind his divorce with Kiran was Fatima, nonetheless their relationship gives me weird vibes. At the 1:18 mark the little girl that Kajol picks up is actually Fatima. She mentioned this in a promotional interview during Dangal.

No wonder a lot of elite family kids are into unhealthy behaviours themselves or unstable relations in own life or have mental health issues or addiction issues etc.

I hate how Aamir cries in interviews to act as victim or blames media, always fishing for sympathy. Everyone is wrong, only he is victim.

His preachy, social crusader, holier than thou act irritates me to no ends.

Ira and Fatima are actually close, which is good. I am glad she is not socially isolated at least and that she has a friend in the family. Aamir's kids obviously know about his behavior, and it looks like they have taken the high way, which is good. All of the family seem to be quite fond of Fatima.

Fatima has had a very difficult life, and Aamir rumors have sadly tanked her career. She's a fantastic actress and I hope she at least finds some success on OTT if not actually in theatres.

Ira suffered from chronic anxiety disorder and it was reportedly due to her parents divorcing when she was just a kid and she felt dad was not around like dad of other kids.

Credit goes to Reena for keeping kids grounded and focused on own studies or work and away from dad or his rangeela lifestyle.

Kids in these cases have no choice except to accept what dad does, and look like happy family in public, even if they feel sad or embarassed about what dad does. There is a so called image to maintain and pressure to not speak against dad. Ghar ki baat ghar mein rakho mentality.

Though it sometimes affects them later. Like Rishi Kapoor wrote in his autobiography about he and his mom being sort of upset or him being sent to a hotel or hostel or nani house whenever Raj Kapoor brought a new woman to house. Arbaaz also hinted slightly in an interview how he and Salman found it hard to accept when Salim Khan married Helen and brought her to house.

Ira being close to Fatima is same as Junaid and Ira befriending Kiran eventually as well and not being distant or wary of her. Reena's probably raised them to not be bitter.

I agree. This Aamir link up has destroyed Fatima's image and affected her career badly. She has been made subject of memes online with trolls and MGTOW types calling her gold digger and whatnot.

I think Fatima's background and having difficult life made her more vulnerable target and makes this relationship look even more problematic. It is pure vulturing to prey on a younger woman who has had her own traumas in life and is no way a match to you in any aspect. Such women are prone to be exploited by anyone pretending to be sweet or lend them a shoulder to lean on. I feel bad for her. Her image is screwed even if she never marries Aamir, as trolls speculate.

Forget Ira and Fatima, Reena and Kiran are actually very fond of each other. Reena is included in all of the khan family functions. Whatever Aamir’s personal issues with commitment maybe, and they’re obviously big issues 😳, they have all still managed to remain a close knit family with some incredible show of civility and maturity.

I commend the women for their maturity. They also defended Aamir in controversies with his dad and brother.

They keep their issues within 4 walls it seems. In public they put up a united and respectful front. The credit goes entirely to the women - Reena and Kiran for their ability to handle things with maturity.

How old was Fatima when she was filming Dangal ? If she wasn’t a minor at that time then it’s not grooming . Their age difference is still very icky .

I would add that some credit also goes to Aamir’s mom and sisters. They could have easily shunned Reena and Kiran and made things more difficult for the kids. But both exes are still considered part of the family and by all accounts treated as such.
