celebrating the good in the midst of all the ugly!

the most recent episode gave some respite from the crap before and after. I genuinely liked the episode since it gave us a flavor of the Sai Joshi we love and admire and shows why people loved her so much.

1. Sai's POV about lavani, presenting a unique nazariya to the Adhikaris that even if they feel like they have been invited to insult them, they can turn it into an opportunity to change the ghatiya soch of people and that they cannot hope for others to respect them if they themselves feel sharminda of their profession. the way Sai presented her points, she managed to melt Amba and co. And the way she volunteered to stand by them and join them on stage to send a clear message that she is NOT ashamed to be seen with them- thats the real Sai! the one with clarity of thought, a unique POV and the ability to speak up passionately about what she believes in. Sai has always turned around a hopeless situation or a situation where she is being insulted and turned tables around in the past. So it was good to see that.

2. The beautiful moments of Sai's kids leaving V and CN side and running towards Sai to hug her and walking away with her to sit next to her was my fav part of the episode. it was a casual scene but how I wish the kids would run away from V and CN because they understood the reality of what all Sai has faced at their behest and choose ONLY her. but I enjoyed that visual.

3. Sai kissing Savi and Savi congratulating her aai before her baba. Good. she is Sai's doll and princess. Her ambition maybe IPS but her parvarish, her behavior is all a reflection of Sai.

4. Sai not sitting silent when she is being gossiped about in such a demeaning way and straight up walking on stage and confronting the matter head on- very Sai Joshi. Yes its cliche, its OTT and its ITVisque but its nice to see her being the Sai Joshi we loved- confronting things head on. Satya and Amba smiled seeing her tackling the matter head on

5. Sai being referred to as Dr Sai Adhikari in this public event and on official record.

Watching these moments makes me even more sad that they will ruin Sai Joshi again by showing her eventually go back to tolerating Vs BS and wanting to reconcile with a loser abusive scumbag like him but I am hoping we get a few more flashes of the real Sai Joshi we loved before it all ends. its a farce. but I'll still take some moments like this instead of all gore.

Its hard to forget that overall the narrative is crappy but I am choosing to celebrate the Sai Joshi that I love who was seen in this episode and getting to see her with her true friend Satya and her kids on one side away from V and CN sitting on the other side.

I hope we get a few more moments of ONLY Sai with her kids, Sai with Satya even as just friends and Sai finding a real aai in Amba before it all goes downhill again. But thats probably not happening, but one can hope and manifest!
