During college, a friend used to bring parathas with rice stuffing inside. That was the first time I had such a Paratha. Is this a common thing?

Also, bhindi sabzi with potato. Is this common?

Cos I can't imagine making bhindi with potato.

Bhindi with aloo is very common.

Rice paratha I have heard of , but never tried.

I felt ki kuch alag lag rahi hai bhindi. To sabne bola.. amrica mein bhindi india Jesi nai banti. 😆 Sachhai baad mein pata chali.

My friends here were like tum gujjus to har cheez me sugar daalte ho..dal me bhi sugar..kitna meetha khaate ho..I tried to not take it to heart though I don't add sugar at all in savouries..aur daal me bhi jaggery hi.

But lost it when they invited us for lunch and then asked ..bhindi ki sabzi hai to sugar daale kya? guys..experiment with ANYTHING but pls don't add sugar in bhindi.

Fun was when my childhood friend came home for dinner and specially mentioned her hubby doesn't like sweet food. But she liked Kadhi so wanted to have it. But Her husband literally had 3 bowls of kadhi. And when I asked he mentioned that they also add jaggery in sambhar🙄🙄

Haven’t heard of rice stuffing.

My Mami used to make khichdi ka paratha. I make it too sometime. Bachi hui khichdi ko atte mein mix karke gund lene ka. Then make paratha with that dough. Tastes Yum!

Aloo with Bhindi is common. When you have less quantity for a sabji.. you add in Aloo. 😆

Arre ekdum baarik bhindi kaat ke, stir fry waali sabzi mai sugar for balancing the flavour, not masale jitna...bohot accha lagta hai. Khatta meetha.

Meri ye colleague ke tiffin ki almost har sabki mein gud hota tha.. 🤯😆 aloo ki sabji mein bhi sugar hoti thi..
