KKR players have tears in their eyes😒 even though I am not their fan but feel bad for them specially the way rinku played and losing by 1 run is so unfortunate

Either reconsitute a whole new team or let rinku get into a better team.. Useless bunch.

What a thriller!! Rinku had the Eden Gardens crowd dreaming again. He almost pulled off the impossible once again. But that's not where KKR lost this game. Because the hosts were 61/1 at the end of the powerplay with Roy and Venky Iyer giving them a superb start. But after both openers departed, LSG started their spin choke and there was no respite for KKR. Bishnoi bowled a top spell of 2/23, and Krunal and Gowtham got amongst the wickets as well. And then Naveen-ul-Haq and Yash Thakur bowled some tight overs by taking the pace off the ball. KKR needed 40 off the last two overs, but then started the Rinku show. He smashed three fours and a six off Naveen, and then almost took the team over the line when 21 was needed off the final over. Ultimately, KKR end one run short but the Eden Gardens crowd can go back home knowing they were witness to a real thriller where Rinku almost pulled off the impossible once again...

Feels good to qualify too. It was scary in every ball [with Rinku batting that way]. We thought we had enough on the board. The plan was to bowl wicket to wicket."

Nitish Rana after the defeat: "The result wasn't in our favour, but there are a lot of positives from the season.

Hopefully we come back as a better team. You have to win back to back, and I feel bad since we had the ability finish games off. Looks like I have spoken Rinku all 14 times that I have held the mic after a match! I really don't have words to define him. If he can bat that way in that situation, then he can do anything!"
