Yes exactly. I read this article as purposely mixing words. Because Marie baji also said the same things in her reply to a fan that was cryptic…this “situation” demands it etc. language but she didn’t specifically mention rape, the promo or what. She also said that we will still think Murtasim is a great character. There’s no way Murtasim is NOT a toxic character if he raped her/ or a great character as Marie said. They’re not that idiotic to condone MR in this society and think that aaj kaal larkhi would think a person that does this is good. And mazaa ayega… no way they would say that about MR.

I suspect that this article is another piece of poor writing that has taken her comments out of context. doesn’t seem like a reputable source. Just like Nooran has done some stupid script writing, and her and Marie are stupid for prolonging the suspense… they could at least shut down the MR angle, but they are not on purpose to drum up the watch value. At least the Maryam character has said the promo was misinterpreted. But Marie and Nooran are now actively pouring gasoline on the flame with these cryptic words.

People would literally have zero interest in Murtasim and Meerab after a MR situation… the show would be done and all of their reputations and respect down the drain. The way they are confidently staying mum… there’s a reason.

Btw… “ek din thum khud ye papers phadogi” is coming…meerab would not tear the papers if she was maritally raped now would she!

Scripts are often incomplete when they sign. They can get 10-15 kist if established and a summary. They often don't know details. Many actors sign without reading and only on summary or based on production house, director or their financial needs
