For all it’s wrong, KTK was clear that Shamsher was a bad guy and gets a redemption arc but even then the makers didn’t give us a happily ever after scene. Shamsher never raped her though.. she went to him

It’s sad that MK was promoted as the guy- ideal and amazing - but he had such a fall from grace. If we get happily ever after from this then they are gonna white wash MR or assault.
