As much as I don't want it to be a talaq case either, I think it's our safest bet. I don't give a rat's ass about Rohail toh woh marr bhi jaye toh mujhe personally chalega lol but imagine the guilt and burden on Murtasim's heart. So, I wouldn't want him for that. Ab for meerub's state to be make sense, it has to be something really personal that would shake her very foundations and that's either something to do with Rohail or one divorce/three divorces in one go that Murtasim might give in anger.
I am not sure if there is talak:
How does Haya know talak hui?
Why will MK look for her if he has given her takak?
Haya's words make no sense in a talak context.
- If it is talak, Merub will have to leave anyways...why further coerce her
- If it is talak, Merub no longer has any relation with MK. So why coerce her to leave so MK uski shakal ko tarse...maafi mangne ko tarse. The talak has already guaranteed this already. His tarasna or not tarasna will not undo talak and associated departur
Why not Merub go to Wakas in Karachi? Why live in poverty? She also has pending legal and religious obligations linked to divorce she need to fulfill that she would need expert help with. If she has any sense of law, she should know that she still needs to sort out legal filing . The family would need to consult an alim or get a fatwa on iddah and other terms related to her talak. In unconsummated marriage, ruling is also different depending on how talak is given.
Unless they a want to make a joke out of talak, I don't see it happening.
