100% agree. I would like some journey of transformation and was hoping that would come, but given where this is heading, I highly doubt it. They will wrap up the love story quickly with some hogwash faltu confession.

Murtasim has more than once held up his side of the respect of marriage. If you go back and look at the episodes, the only time he has shown anger is during Rohail track which if you think of it is completely justified. The idiot was alone with his wife in his house and declaring love to her and speaking shit about him. Even if there is no physical or emotional love between the two, how can a spouse be ok with that? Even in that rage, he held the gun and fired in the air. He was so distraught but he came around. His big mistake was to ask her to jump. Again totally uncalled for behavior. This is a husband who has understood and communicated his love for her multiple times now.

He did not believe Meerub could do this with Maryam so he held on to his side of trust until he could. After all the pleading he did with her, was vulnerable and confessed his love and how much this relationship means to him, she still chose to sideline him and help Maryam run away with someone who could potentially have assaulted or killed his sister.

Even when he saw her with Rohail he did not pull her hand or disrespect her in front of her friends. He simply walked away. And came home and did not badmouth her to his mom.

But Meerub, on the other hand, has led him on, teased him, mocked him, has heard Rohail talk shit, has sidestepped him multiple times even in front of his mom, his sister, her parents, has never stuck up for him, and now has accused him, slapped him and spit on him.

I mean honestly no way in hell does Murtasim deserve Meerub and he needs someone who is mature and sensible and maybe Meerub needs someone like Rohail - Pagal but lallooo to give in to her all the time, not an alpha male with anger issues.

Haya needs to be put away in prison for life. She is pure evil and dangerous.

naah..I agreed with ur comments and I liked what u said, that's y I bolded that phrase. We should wait for the episode to air and not pass judgements just by looking at the disheveled appearance.Thats such a clcihe thing to do!

Totally agree the spit scene was DISGUSTING. This is not about wife spitting at husband male female or any such nonsense...its just one human being behaving in a derogatory way to another and is just totally unacceptable - no matter who does it to who.

Meerab's character has just fallen from grace for me totally in the last couple of episodes and this thookna was the lastnail in the coffin.

And you tell me this is the work of a female writer??Tauba!Such bad writing!Especially in Meera's arc.

Some points I want to point out:

Now Meerab knows Haya turned the Naurez marriage around to Mariam to escape marriage ...(Obviously goal-Murtasim)

She knows Haya allowed the Malik Zubair fiasco to happen inspite of knowing his true identity.

Note:Murtasim is not yet aware of these things.

So more than Murtasim , Meerab knows very well at the point just how low Haya is willing to stoop to get Murtasim and in case her super smart lawyer brain hasn't figured out she has been explicitly warned of the same by Mariam previously.

You don't need to be Einstein to put these together.

Also previously Meerab has also repeatedly stated that "Murtasim jhoot nahi bolta" yet when he repeatedly tells her he did not call Haya to the room she chooses to believe Haya.

He had opened up the deepest corners of his hearts, let her in to his darkest lows and expressed his love for her and yet she doubts he is involved with Haya.

But yet she expects him to trust she has no feelings for Rohail when she repeatedly goes out to meet him , quietly sits while he bad mouths murtasim.

All this when she has clearly stated to him she doesn't love him back, care for his love and would dearly love to escape his house and that she is staying there only for Mariam.How is the viewer supposed to stay invested in the lead couple - I almost don't care what happens to them anymore :-(

But after that superb scene where Murtasim tells her about what he's given up and stuff I was so rooting for this couple ...but just a few episodes and bad writing has just killed it.

(I'm ignoring those stupid promos for now, I don't want to believe there is any SA- she leaves for some other reason -maybe Rohail is killed or something ..I dunno I don't want to speculate...but I doubt any SA angle. Its hopefully and probably just a very very cheap publicity stunt as a build up to next week's episode.)

The promo is misleading but yes geo did the fans dirty to even implying this and making us wait for. A week! When this could have been shown over 2 days!
