Tbqh, putting gajra as an intimate act and putting an arm around someone loosely in friendly manner are not equitable. My friends have put their hands around me and they are not even family lol. But it makes Sai uncomfortable and he should be cognizant about that too.

However, this just goes around to show that they are on different wavelengths about Sai's place in the family.

Sai doesn't see them as her people and he does see her as one of them.

I think adhikaris including Amba see Sai as part of their family. That is why they care and they demand in return. Sometimes over the board. But Sai sees it as her part of the deal thats it,

They are indeed copying Yeh rishta, but in a very cheap manner. Neither is Sai as powerful as Akshara now nor is Virat anywhere close to Abhimanyu. Abhinav is also a very well written character compared to Satya. Problem with this show is a whole lot of bad writing, bad acting and off screen drama that affects onscreen dynamics.
