I guess his insecurities come from the fact of not getting a proper response from Aaliya. He is not exactly poor or lower middle class. Both the aagas and Salman looks like they are from well reputed families and upper middle class. Aagaji's family might have been a well known family back in the days seeing how big that house is. Salman's sister and uncle are settled abroad and Salman is in his mid to late 20s. So if he is confident on buying a house soon he might be financially doing well. He might not be rich like asfar but don't look like he is struggling financially in any way. He only has him and his mother to take care. He had a partnership business with rafi and now is working in a job right under shehrish.

Dunk is bilal's show from two years ago. It's about sexual harrasment allegation. The drama is good and his acting was also great in it. It gets a little draggy but overall a fine watch.

Yes not getting any confirmation from Aliya is also a reason but for me it is also about the financial security that Asfar can give her which he can't (after the terrace conversation).

Just remember one thing - when Salman was shifting to Aliya's house, the whole scene where Almas was introducing Salman to Aghaji, Shammo was looking at Salman so admiringly....😁

That’s because her new project is phupho. 😛

But jokes aside, I think she doesn’t want Aliya to get married yet is because she is the only earning member for their family. And Tanya is yet to complete her education. This drama doesn’t have any apparent negative character, but I absolutely dislike the mother in this drama.

And they shifted Saif’s mothers character a bit. Because initially she used to be very caustic with her words. MILs like her make the home environment extremely negative and emotionally draining. But in this show after marriage, she just demands for something like car, new home, generator but when she doesn’t get it, she just gives up on mentioning it ever again. This doesn’t seem realistic, but I am glad I don’t have to see Samiyas long sad face much more. Her track was boring af.

I have a love hate relationship with shammo. Sometimes i like her sometimes i don't.

Saif's mother was just waiting to show her true colours after marriage and she kept saying that to saif in initial episodes. Before marriage she had the fear of samiya or her family backing out from marriage. Now like any typical Desi aunty she thinks she has an upper hand since she is ladke ki maa and a divorce will only harm samiya's reputation and in fear of that her family will listen to everything she asks for.
