Honestly, I think inter religious marriages can only work if both people arenāt really religious & neither of them care about religion. A person can however convert if they love their partner so much - they donāt particularly believe in their own religion but they do it because they want to be accepted by the spouseās family. I have seen videos and a few documentaries I found online. From what I have seen, some teens just run away from their homes after meetings these men online and joining Facebook groups etc. Iām talking about the ones in the western world. Maybe they want to be part of a bigger cause? Some people get attracted to violent gangs too, right?
I haven't read anything on ISIS brides, just watched a few videos so I don't want to say much about it. I do think that they should be held responsible for their actions though, even if they were brainwashed. Everybody knew ISIS was a terror outfit and they should really have to prove why they thought they were doing any good.
The ISIs propaganda videos however clearly show violence in their videos. I guess they may have had issues at home but they are probably drawn to violence.There was another documentary I followed about an American woman who went with her husband and her child from previous marriage. She didnāt even believe in Islam really but it seemed like she just went for thrills. She even put the life of her kids in danger, her first husband didnāt even know that she had taken their son there. That woman is in jail now and the son is back with his father. I have also seen girls loyal to the caliphate who were first married at 13. Is believe they are the ones who were real victims. Itās the only life they have known.
