No. It comes before the hug. He thought that it was Haya because before that Haya was trying to talk to him. That's why he called Meerab 'Haya'.

There was an English show I watched long back where the couple are in love , happily married and there is someone like Haya in their lives . The ML doesn’t love her and marries the FL. One night the FL is out coz her mom was sick or something like that … the ML is in a party with his friends , this equilent of Haya tells one of his friends on the party to get this guy drunk which he does … the guy comes home , Haya wears his wife’s nightie and is already in bed , the ML thinks it’s his wife ( he does not get the msg that she isn’t coming , he thinks she will b back by night as was planned ) and he makes love to her . Wife comes in the morning and sees them in bed … leaves him . The guy does not remember anything that happened at night coz he was dead drunk . No amount of him trying to make the FL understand works and they get divorced 👎🏼. I was afraid something like that might happen , they have given a sort of toned down version of that
