I am sure in some cases girls convert willingly.
It is beyond my understanding as to why but I think it is the concept Hindus grow up with that all religions are the same and does not matter who or what you pray to that is the main reason and not patriarchy.
However, disregarding the many cases of deception that happen is like being an ostrich. Whether you see it or not these cases are happening.
Well patriarchy is very much real whether you see it or not. Not everything has to do with religion.
I'm not denying that cases of deception do exist, but then should we see every conversion where girl changes it after marriage as brainwashing, or should we give them the benefit of doubt? Honestly I won't judge if Hindu girls do doubt every Muslim guy. Doesn't change that its still prejudice but prevention is better than cure. In this case there may not even be a cure.
