Btw…Why didn’t murtu make Haya jump off the roof when she said she promised not to harm Meerab anymore after she came back from the Gaon exile. You would think he’d be angrier about that than the Rohail thing.
His character has turned out to be kinda meh for me. He used to be the great KMK in the beginning, and then we realized that nobody but Bhaktu listens to him, including the ladies of his family. Why did they have to make him so dumb and blind with respect to Haya that he would let her stay in the house after she almost killed his wife. It’s just nonsense now. I just don’t see him as some great wise and powerful person now. It’s a case of all that glitters is not gold. Yes he’s hot and romantic and nice, but yet fails to keep his wife secure from bad nazar wale characters which is more important. WHY THE F@%& is Haya even allowed in their bedroom??? Like, get some sense man.
At this point…either Meerab needs to get rid of Haya herself…didn’t she threaten to get her married in the first 15 episodes? Or, she should just leave. No safe way to have a relationship with Murtasim or raise a kid in a house with the haveli ka hayena around. It needs to be one or the other… the two cannot coexist and he should have realized that when haya tried to murder his wife. I wRote this before, but again, he has no right to ask someone to live with him if he can’t make it a safe space for them. Just like I didn’t care if meerab’s intentions were good but still had a bad result b/c of ego/stupidity, the same goes for Murtasim with this haya meri cousin thing.
Meerab’s not perfect either, but who knows, maybe she acts out even more because she hasn’t been given the proper space by her husband. If he were my husband I would be all ‘this door is closed until that beetyatch is out of the picture.” Actually now that I remember back, Haya had said some shit to Meerab about Murtasim loving her right before the marriage ceremony and that also pushed her to make the contract in the first place. So.. then the reasoning behind the contract is still there, in that case. It’s still needed unless Haya is out.
