303 = Total runs scored in the game. 174 = Runs scored by Prabhsimran+Warner+extras. Rest of the batters = 129/13. Tells you everything you need to know about this game. DC got off to a blazing start (69/0 in 6.1 overs), looked all set for an early finish but the introduction of spin post the powerplay made matters upside down for the home team.

David Warner | DC captain: It was about trying to restrict them to a decent total. They got more than we would have liked. Prabhsimran batted really well, dropped chances cost us a few. At the end of the day after the powerplay when you lose 6 for 30 not going to win a lot of games. You got to play for pride, and play with freedom [on the remaining games]. Another disappointing effort with the bat after the good start we had. When you lose they are the things that happen in this format [on chopping and changing of their team]. We found the right combination but we keep losing 3-4 quick wickets and you can't do that at this level.

Harpreet Brar: I enjoyed bowling on this surface. I leaked 13 runs in the first over, I was a bit nervous. I had belief that I could come back on this kind of a surface. In the first over, the ball was stopping a little and the batters were playing easily off the back foot. I tried to bowl it fuller in my spell and make the batter commit on the front foot. When you play on a slow wicket, the powerplay is crucial. DC had a good powerplay. Rahul bowled well from the other end and he put pressure on the batters, that helped me to get the wickets. We both had in our mind to bowl as many dot balls as possible and create pressure on the batters.
