Few Years ago.
I settled down to watch a movie (Edward Scissor hands - for the first time). At 12am sharp.
All of a sudden there were loud banging sounds around my property from the outside, like someone was trying to break in. First round the front - then the sideway - then near the back. The doors were literally shaking.
It was heart thumpingly scary. Finally building the courage, I got up to have a look. Through the kitchen French doors, I could see the outside flood lights had come on, in it's spotlight you could see a woman. Frantic and frenzied. She appeared to look like the walking dead. (I'm serious).
My heart almost stopped. She was covered in what looked like grey cement. It was all dried up and her hair was stuck in a mould. Her clothes covered. She was barefoot and her hands bleeding in some places. She was crying and hanging of the door handle and trying to get in.
It looked like an apparition of a person who had been buried alive in a hole using cement and had crawled her way out to the land of the living. I was frozen.
I recognised this ghastly apparition. She was my neighbour. She was absolutely panicking, and looking over and screaming and tugging even harder at the door - Shouting for me to let her in.
Luckily the door was shut and locked with the key still sitting in the lock.
I was unsure if she was dead or alive, if someone had tried to bury her and what was after her still....
So I told her, I do not have the key (Lie) and that she should jump into my other neighbours garden and ask them to let her out back to the front.
(She may have been my neighbour, but not my responsibility) I advised her that once they let her out - I will meet her out in the front of their house.
So she did the same thing there, she banged the doors and windows in the back of their property and tried to get inside and scared the living daylights out of them. The lady of the house ran outside crying.. because she didn't recognise who she was and what was happening.
Now the neighbour climbed into the garden of the 3rd house. I could see from the window - They had a stick in hand, Called the police and were questioning who she was etc. This family too, petrified.
Then I called some other neighbours from the opposite side over. I managed to somehow direct her to come out to the front. Now when she came out - There was a crowd gathered. (Safety in numbers people, safety in numbers).
She walked out like a Don, like completely calm and not the same person who was screaming and shouting like her life depended on it. Then she walked to her own house and climbed in through the front window.
Then the police came .. and apparently - Her BF and her had thrown grey paint at each other and were off their heads.. fell asleep. She woke up looked in the mirror, got scared thinking someone is trying to do whatever to her.. and ran about the neighbourhood torturing all of us.
Lesson from this guys.
