on topic - I’m in favour of hat tossing.. 😊 it’s a very fashionable and cool thing to do..(I just think insane prestige of university education however will be irrelevant with the advent of AI) however I am now also hearing about Spring breaks in school in Mumbai..and I am like..Accha Spring hota hai Mumbai main 😆😆

So are the graduation hats......They also represent success in your education..Besides tossing the hat ....they also flip the tassel.....which means completing the education or class...

i don't understand if one doesn't want their culture to be disrespected ....why would you disrespect someone else's just because its different .....

And I am talking about High School graduations and College graduations....KG graduations are just a cute ceremony that is all...they don't mean anything.....Even I was amused when my kids had that😆

Also touching a book lightly with your feet will not destroy or harm it....but it would still be disrespectful..

It's not a debate. It's just about whether it's something you would do or not. Simple really. Not all topics have to be 'worth' debating. Sometimes free the mind and have lighthearted stuff to ponder over too.
