Damn I hate making predictions, but I think he overheard something he shouldn't have. And can we blame him if he is hurt because of that. Liberal or conservative, some things should remain between husband and wife. He doesn't doubt her character but he does wonder if she has any common sense left.
They are each others shield. But the way he protects her is pre-emptive. But Meerab pushes him to the brink and then will come to rescue him and finally will offer up her explanations. This is a failing strategy Meerab, and ironically Murtasim method of keeping her safe is not working either. They both want the same end result but going about it wrongly.
We have to understand he hasn't forgiven or recovered from the fact that she is giving out promises to MZ, didn't tell him about anus being in their house if he had known from the very beginning maybe this whole tragedy could have been avoided, she did play a role in his sister's elopement when he begged her not to do anything stupid.
He hasn't recovered from the MZ trauma and she dumps the Rohail nonsense on his head. Give the guy a break Meerab, this is their whole marriage going from one crisis to another crisis. He went to get her home regardless of the past but he is finally realizing she will never grow up under his shadow. He has to let her go, she can only leave him if he allows it and now he is allowing it.
I find Meerab POV regarding Murtasim always sketchy she doesn't know him as well as he knows her. I would trust his judgement over hers, she needs a time of reflection of her own behaviour before she judges him.
